When I go to the guide it shows "Receiving programme information" for ages (possibly forever). It used to just do that for a short while and would then start showing the guide as an overlay over whatever channel I was previously watching. What might be going on with that?

I was out last night so couldn't check.

Just done it now, and fully populated within 30secs with the sound back, no action on my part.

Rgds.

From Barry at Hummy.org. Do a freesat channel scan but don't save the results

Yep I switched it on when I got back in and it did a 'new channels found' scan - all is now well, hurrah!

Nice one Barry and cheers GLT for relaying it.

You should not have needed the new channel scan at all.

Doing it as suggested avoids deleting your reservation list.

A full new channel scan and a save would have fixed it anyway but deletes your reservation list

It was an automatic scan and I didn't get back to the remote quickly enough to stop it

...that's the trouble with long boot times

Is there a new channel scan going around at the moment, my foxsat's not found it yet. Did it report any channel changes ?
