Big Brother Series Links

OK something weird is going on with channel 4's series links.

Big Brother series linked on channel 4 with a SERIES CRID of www.channel4.com/C4030030523162120223 appears in my scheduled list tonight and the EPG shows it is set up all next week as expected.

Big Brothers Little Brother series linked on E4 with a SERIES CRID of www.channel4.com/C4080008010416281709 appears in my scheduled list tomorrow and the EPG shows it is set up all next week as expected.

Big Brothers Big Mouth series linked on E4 with a SERIES CRID of www.channel4.com/C4080080605162825728 does not appear in my scheduled list at all however the EPG shows it is set up to record next Friday as expected.

Now the weird thing is that my schedule shows that it is set to record Big Brother on E4 starting Tuesday afternoon and the EPG shows that this continues for the rest of the week. The series CRID for this set of series linked programs is www.channel4.com/C4080090605162827723 however Sunday and Mondays E4 Big Brother uses the same CRID yet the HDR has not schedules these for recording.

I think the problem is with the E4 Big Mouth series link in that it seems to have linked itself to two different series somehow (and only a certain number of episodes in a series)? Anyone else have this or know whats happening

It is the Big Mouth series link. Todays extra E4 recording of Big Brother was stored in the Big Mouth series folder.

Very odd how a single series link appears to have linked itself to more than one series (both with different series CRID's)

Every woman I know does, dont know a single man that does though.

FWIW, the athletics series links were either screwed or just didnt start for some reason.

I think the HDR has problems with a series link that has several programs each day, they didnt work the last time I tried it in that scenario either. Maybe it applies here.

Wimbledon had series link problems on HD too, that was down to the BBC not supplying the Prog CRID data along with the Series CRID data.

Seems as though there are enough people watching and posting on the BB forums as explained in this post http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/a...hp?f=108&a=320 concerning the forums being unavailable due to all the Big Brother traffic.

I find its nice to just chill and relax and watch something that doesn't require too much thought (after a stressful day at work). Beauty of recording it as well is that you can miss the crap (i.e. most of BBLB and Big Mouth).

The main reason for posting was to highlight the fact that the HDR appears to be following two different series linked programs under one series link. Whether its just got itself confused or whether channel 4 messed up the series linking and then corrected it (and this confused the HDR) I don't know?

I'm sure I (and a few others) have wondered whether its in the Freesat Spec that one program can have multiple hidden series CRID's so that one program can be picked up by a number of series links.
