Playing other videos on Humax

I remember when the Humax HDR came out there was no way to play back videos from other sources via the USB stick. But it was suggested back then that it was only a matter of time before someone works out the other two files that accompany the video that the Humax copies across to a USB Pen and a freeware converter would emerge to enable third party videos to play back.

Has this happened yet by any chance?
