I gather it's everyone on a certain food per day, so everyone (excepting those with slop passes) would be on slop on whichever day that is. Monday's a slop day according to Michele.

If Michelle and Jordan were being observant, they would've noted Russell saying one of his sisters attended Stanford. Presumably indicating there is money in his family.

Re Stanford, US unis have lots of scholarships AFAIK, if you are bright you get a place. His uncle ran for Pres of Lebanon, again indicates possibly wealthy family.

The future isn't much more exciting, believe me.

Stanford in particular does not charge tuition for students whose families make less than $100k a year. They don't charge for room and board either for families that make less than $60k. There is a sliding scale for tuition between $100k and $180k. A number of top private universities have similar policies. So yes, it is an option for the middle class and poor. Going there doesn't indicate wealth. The hard part is getting admitted, rather than paying for it. It is very selective.

The politics reference might be a stronger indication of wealth.

Kevin plans to lie to Jordan about Michelle and Russell plotting against her and Jeff. No doubt hoping to dupe her into nominating Russell if the veto is used.
