Re-running hoh comp seems a strange decision.
If Natalie, Lydia or Kevin win it, it'll be like a victory for Chima. |

Having another hoh comp just makes up for there not being a double eviction.

It wasn't unfair. None of Chima's HOH nominations went and her HOH was over thrown by CDE. So she was given another chance to play.
Whereas, Michelle's HOH ended on Chima leaving via eviction or quitting regardless one of her nominees went so it wasn't a wasted HOH. Michele also didn't get to live out her full HOH because she didn't enjoy the perks and priveleges throughout the week. And Chima isn't going to the jury house so this isn't the same as Michele getting to eliminate Chima from the game - Chima left in a way which couldn't be predicted. Also, the POV competition wasn't played yet, and something could have happened during the week to completely change Michele's target, something that would make her want Chima to stay instead. It would be fair if Chima wasn't allowed to compete in the HOH after the CDE being used. But because Chima was allowed to compete again, so should Michele. Chima could have predicted the CDE being used, Michele could not have predicted Chima leaving or getting kicked out because she's a sore loser. Chima knew before she won HOH that it might be over-thrown by the mystery power, whereas Michele had no idea someone would be such a terrible loser and get themselves kicked out or quit the show, Michele thought she'd get the full week as HOH but didn't. I guess it's a shame Michele isn't a raging, racist, nasty, diva bitch who doesn't treat production like crap - maybe then she would've had a chance to compete in the next HOH. |

She wasn't hoh for the week, Jeff was. All chima got was the room and safety. Michelle on the other hand got the safety and the assurance of one of her nominees being out which infact makes her HOH valid which means she isn't eligible to compete. The rules of CDE being used meant the hoh at the time had another chance of having a valid hoh. |

It's not about favouring people but about the rules. This isn't coup d'etat week. Michelle's hoh week was twist free, and unfortunately one of her noms was booted but shouldn't mean she can compete again.
BB just fast forwarded the HOH comp to probably compensate for there not being a double eviction that is all. On thurs somebody would have had a short HOH anyway! |

People don't always nominate someone they want to go home though. She could've been backdooring someone like Russell and keeping it to herself for all we know. Or the other nominee may have been her real target. And things change so quickly in the game that she might have wanted Chima to stay by the end of the week. If this was after the POV ceremony, then I think it would be fair-dos. But since it was before, I think Michele should have a chance to play for HOH.

I'm pretty curious how they're gonna twist this on BB's next episode.
There's been so much drama in the past few days that their usual lackadaisical editing won't suffice. |

We'll beg to differ then.
Her and Russell for whatever reason have a final two deal.. We all know what happened last time they aligned.

So there will be a new HOH for 5 days?
This is going a bit crazy. Feel a bit sad for Michelle if she can't be HOH again as she only slept 2 nights in the HOH room |

Wow thats really harsh on Michele.. I can understand them re-doing the HoH competition, but I think she should have competed.. If she gets the boot this week, she'd have every right to be very pissed.

I'm sorry but i disagree. Michelle did "get to feel her hoh", regardless of the circumstances, one of her nominees went home.
If the CDE wasn't used, Chima would not have competed for HOH comp again but because it was used to make her noms null and void, she now had the chance to compete for hoh comp again. The rules of CDE being used meant the hoh at the time had another chance of having a valid hoh. I mean if she really didn't have HoH capabalities, then she wouldn't have been immune from the Coup and she would also have been allowed to vote. But she wasn't because she was still techinally a HoH, just that Jeff changed her nominations. Michele didn't get to play out her week as HoH. Chima been expelled is not the same as been evicted. As others have said, there was a Veto to be played and so on, things could have changed. The Coup was part of the game and was used on Chima. But Chima lbeen kicked out was not 'part of the game'. Michele should have been allowed to name a replacement nominee or at the very least been allowed to compete in this new HoH comp. |

Chima shouldn't have been allowed to compete in HoH. They let her as a kind of compromise, so that she wouldn't explode on the live show.
