Thought it deserved it's own thread.

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/usa/news/chim...the-house.html

Oh My God.

From Jokers post:

She threw the $5000 microphone into the water and refused to wear a new one or something.

Someone on Jokers said this is what happened (while bbad was still on and Allison was just coming in or something)

Mike: Hey Guys, can you all come into the Livingroom please? We need to have a house meeting.

.... ... they speak .... ....

AG: You will be paying for the mic pack Chima, this will come out your Stipend.

Chima: You know what? ***** this *****. I'm outta here. love you, nat--you too Lydia. *throws something* (her mic?)

She presses the diary room button, it doesn't go green, she tries to pull the door open (EVERYONE is in the living room sitting down btw) and Chima says "don't ***** with me, open this damn door. NOW!"

Then Nat and Lydia want to leave with her, but production asks them to remain a moment..

AG: Everyone, PLEASE calm down!

Lydia gets up and tries to open the DR door, bangs on it, crying.

Chima was SCREAMING at AG! The entire control room was told to record everything in case something happened. Security may have been there too.

[AG = Allison Grodner, producer]

Hey...

Why tell everyone. SBBA did not splash it on the front page.

That's what Spoilers are for.

I agree wth razor...did you have to put it in the title??

But now that I know...WOW. I knew she was explosive, but I didn't see that one coming! What an iiot, she was fairly well-placed gamewise...

I wonder whether she'll be on the jury? And will they cancel the double eivction? Exciting stuff!

I thought it wasn't much of a spoiler as she was protected from the CDE and no eviction has taken place this week.

I'd prefer Ronnie, he needed it, but they won't do that.

They'll most likely cancel the FF eviction, and make America the 7th juror.

Isn't the Big Brother Fast Forward a highlight of the season? And the other question is, how will CBS and AG edit it?

I just learned about the Chima situation. This is an amazing development! What an immature response to the coup d'etat. And it must be demoralizing to her allies! She let them down tremendously-- there was no guarantee she would have gone home, and she could have helped them further along the game, and in the jury house. But those two Jessie worshippers won't see that. They'll still hate Jeff.

Congrats to Jeff for pulling down two adversaries in a single blow! Jessie and Chima! He couldn't have asked for a better outcome to his bold move. Of course Michelle stood her ground too, so I salute her as well. But it was Jeff's coup.

This worshiping of Jesse reminds me of the year they built a shrine for Cappy.

Chima/Lydia far too emotional to play this game and wanting to throw the towel in over some tool like Jesse. Can`t stand Nat but at least she still has her eye on the game.

I prefer Jessie than the enourmous turd that was Eric in Season 6.

Chima`s reasons why she left.

Hi Thomas. Yes, I did in fact quit the show, although there are reports on EW from CBS to the contrary. Big Brother would like everyone to believe I was kicked off for not following the rules, but I went to the producers repeatedly over the past couple of days wanting to leave....wanting out of that house!

As crazy as that house is, the producers NEVER want the world to think or know that we houseguests DO LEAVE when it becomes futile to stay. I lost faith in the show & my ability to remain committed to this game. All of the remaining housemates know I wanted to leave and that is why any conversation concerning me is cut in the live feed because they don't want America to hear the truth about my voluntary departure.

Do you really believe that I would be expelled for tossing my microphone when past houseguests have only been kicked off for violence & threats of violence? You know better, as do I.

It's better that I left. I did what was best for me in this game and that was to leave. When I chose to play & play hard the power I did earn was completely usurped by a game piece never used before in this game and my HOH reign was rendered useless. I have no regrets. As cliche' as it sounds, until the public is a part of a human pressure cooker, then the judgements should cease.

I find it interesting that my personal attacks on Russell have been highlighted, but his attacks on me pushed under a rug. Selective portrayals? I think so. Russell did terrorize the house, especially the women in the house. Why America constantly finds men attacking women okay, yet vilifies the woman defending herself, will always confound me. But what's done is done, now BB fans can find a new woman to hate. I didn't sign up for what I was exposed to & I left gladly. It was the principle of the matter, the $500,000 prize be damned. That's all for now! Take Care...

I actually genuinely believe her when she says she quit. She may be a bitch, but I dont think they would really throw her out for damaging a mic and threatening to be gobby.

If they did, I would be even more furious with them for keeping Dick after the way he tortured Jen.

But, the thing is, by leaving, she forfeited any allowance she would've got, which is basically the for entire show (since she would have defo made it to the jury), and the fee for appearing at the finale, etc. Why would she do that? Going through all those auditions, just to self-destruct at the first signs of losing power? What a waste! They all go in for one reason; the money. And if she really did quit (rather than get kicked out), then that's just sad. Leaving, because she wasn't able to "expect the unexpected". Sore loser! Also, her pulling the sexism card is utter bs. People hated Ronnie for being an idiot, he's male. People hate Jessie for being an idiot, he's male. She's just a sexist, racist (calling Russell a terrorist, "Osama", etc.) moron, and I'm glad she's gone.

I don't believe her. I think she threatened to quit, but when it came down to it, I believe CBS threw her out. Those mic packs cost between $5000-$10000, you can't just be hurling them in to the pool and destroying them. She wasn't obeying the rules, so she had to go.

But surely you don't think it was just because she chucked the mic that she got kicked out, do you? I mean, I think Dick burning Jen with a cigarette, along with the rest of the stuff he did, is worse than Chima chucking her mic into the pool...

On a somewhat related note: Is it safe to assume the mic packs they use in the US version cost more than in the UK one? Because I remember Amanda BB8 broke something like 11 microphones before BB actually "punished" her.

No I don't think she went JUST because of the mic, she was refusing to obey all the rules basically.

Plus Dick should have been kicked out Week 2 for the way he treated Jen, but he was a producers favourite, hence why the season was rigged for him.

It's really a semantic issue of whether she quit or was kicked out. She destroyed the mic. She refused to put a new mic on. She gave the finger to the production staff. She pounded on the doors. Bottom line is she intentionally made production of the show impossible-- you have to wear a mic! So they let her go. Good riddance. Such an emotionally unstable person has only herself to blame for the outcome, and the death of her career as a journalist. A high price to pay for a jackass like Jessie.

The woman is pathetic and I don't really care if she was thrown out / chose to leave. It was just her last desperate cry for attention before we all forget about her.

So much for '80 microphones... that capture you're every word'

And I reckon she was walking the plank voluntairily, and she was going to jump, but CBS wanted to keep their 'reputation' and decided to push her.

There'd be a major outcry of that rat came back in the game. I don't think anyone should return really. I don't think it would look good.

I had to come in here as I can't honestly wait until Weds. to find out who got removed. I'm not surprised. I don't think Chima when i heard the anouncement. She's not a particularly nice hm but, she's certainly provided some electric entertainment in the BBUSA house this year.

Highlighted = completely true. Happens with BBUK as well. For example Bea and Charlie. Both similar behaviour, but only one will be vilified for it. Who's that I wonder?
