Has anyone ordered anything from CDjungle - if so how long does delivery take?
I found this site a few weeks ago and as their prices were on a par with CD-Wow (pre increase) a ordered one CD to see what the service was like. I ordered it on 25/01/04 and it was shipped 27/01/04 and I'm waiting for it to arrive.
The site says usual shipping to the UK is 4-7 days but they can't declare it lost until 4 weeks after posting.
I checked my credit card statment today and it shows as
28 Jan WP-Evalueshops.Com, Maharashtra 6.99
Maharashtra is where Mumbai is - so is it just coming by surface mail (in which case it will take a while) or has anyone received goods from them quicker than that.

To be honest, I haven't used CDJungle. But in my opinion, apart from Play.com, all the other discounted online suppliers I have used, have been very slow when it comes to delivery. Personally I don't mind - there's no rush and if I'm desperate for an album, I'll pay the extra and visit my local High St store. But, both CDWOW and SplashDVD have taken weeks to get goods to me in the past - be warned if anyone else is thinking of using them.

I used to have no problems with Cdwow at all but since they have been sourcing from the european union instead of the far east they have been shit.
I've never had any problem with play.com, they have been as good as they day I first used them.

The only online retailers I use are Amazon and Play; the ones you can trust.

I've used CD Jungle to order my Joss Stone CD. It arrived today and I ordered in on Thursday which isn't too bad.

The CD was posted from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The CD has bloody copy protection on it which might not be on other region (I once deliberately got a US very of Sharika because the UK version had copy-protection)

I dont agree with you on CD-Wow. Ive ordered lots of times from them and all delivered within 5 days of notification of dispatch and all dispatched within 5 days of ordering, with one exception which was out of stock.
I think CD Wow are one of the best ones out there.

I also add my vote for CD-Wow....I have ordered literally hundreds of CDs from them over the last couple of years, and they have never let me down once.

Occasionally they are out of stock of something, which they don't tell you when you order it, but they are normally pretty quick to inform you afterwards, and generally send it well before the anticipated dispatch date they give you - which is normally only a week or so anyway.

I did see someone say something about since the BPI 'agreement' they have had problems. I can say that I have ordered a few things since this happened, and a few of them have taken quite a bit longer than before to arrive - which may be one of two things...either they are having trouble sourcing goods at the right price from within the EU or that the amount of publicity the whole debacle caused has led to huge increases in the amount of customers trying them out - or of course a combination of the two.

If you are waiting for something to arrive, I would say stick with them for the time being - I've found CDWow to be excellent at getting the stuff sent out fast in the past...the record I think was ordering a CD at 11pm on one Friday night and receiving it (from Hong Kong) in the post on the Monday morning!

I use them regularly. They can be a bit slow but are great value and I've never had any problems.

Just to let you know I did get my CD enventually - today. Only seven weeks(!) from ordering it and after getting a replacement sent out two weeks ago.
The envolope had a handwritten address and a postage paid label from Southall with a return address of PO Box 160 Southall. Strange.
The CD is marked with "For sale in India only. Not to be exported out of India". Hmmmm....
