Just not to confuse matters, I'm NOT talking about 3toGo here, rather the new, pre-paid/voucher/e-top scheme due to launch within the next few months.

Anyone got any Pictures of the new Budget Nec e313? I've heard it can't do videocalling but it could go for as cheap as £50. I'd love to be able to send me kid brother and me mum video messages.

The NEC e313 is reported to be a candybar phone with the innards of the new e616 and should support videocalling as that has been a specefication requirement on all 3 handsets from launch. Will it be any better than their previous dodgy NEC offerings?

Sadly for 3 there are now many other phones that allow video clips to be captured and exchanged. To send videoclips and MMS your relatives will have to have 3 phones also as they currently dont allow cross network MMS.

But the Motorola a830 didn't support video calling, just video messaging.

Mr cable is correct! The A-830 could only send/receive video clips but 3 hav'nt launched anything without their 'signature' video-calling facility since. We shall have to wit and see if it doesnt have it I doubt if that will affect sales assuming that the phone and the tarriffs are good and the 3 network can be relied upon (previous NEC products on 3 have produced bucketloads of customer complaints).
