Anyone else have this problem last night?

I checked the reservations they show it's set for next week ok so why didn't it record this weeks. Last weeks recorded ok.

Mine recorded fine. Don't forget there is a repeat airing on saturday. Mine is recording both due to some meta-data error by Five, though it's strange as some people reported this last series and it was not an issue for me then but this time round it is. I might have a try at rescheduling it sometime see if that helps.

Iv'e set it for Saturdays repeat and also tonights on Fiver on my V+.

Hope these missed recordings isn't going to spoil my enjoyment of an otherwise nice piece of kit!

I dont use series record on it as its set up wrong an automatically records the repeat on saturday.

I have had regular problems with the Gadget Show recordings. It regularly screws up and must be due to dodgy data!

Funny mine recorded fine and doesn't record the repeat on Saturdays. Very odd.

I've had similar random results with Gadget Show and other Five programmes. Some record, some don't. I also have seen on two occasions an instant lock-up when recording the Gadget Show and trying to switch the box on during the recording to watch something else. I get a v.brief flash of the current channel on the screen, then no response, no picture nothing until hard powered off and on again. This is about the only way I've ever seen a lockup but haven't yet had time (or inclination) to experiment and see how repeatable this is. Not sure it would be helpful anyway as I'm unsure whether this information would have any bearing on the Humax bunch that are suggested to be pondering whether to perhaps think about creating an update to fix such issues... ahem.

Same for me, all recorded fine and no repeat of the repeat (if you see what I mean...) so I would suggest (GaseousClay) that a re-schedule ought to fix it?

Hi CPN I had a look at it yesterday and it seems to have resolve itself, it didn't record yesterday and the schedule has advanced to mondays airing.

Result!

Now theyve finally fixed it so it doesnt record on a Saturday, lets hope it actually records the monday show.
