^^ I bought that the other week in Sainsbury's for £2 - great compilation - can't whack Bruce Springsteen. Also got the best of Deep Purple at the same time for the same price.

Last CD I bought (or rather was bought for me) was:
- Mechanical Bull - Kings of Leon (Brilliant album! Can't believe I overlooked it last year...!! Massive improvement on their last three albums imo)

I'm really into Bruce Springsteen's music at the moment. They call him The Boss for a reason! Looking forward to it arriving.

I keep trying with Kings of Leon...I like the odd song but I can't get into their music properly.

Bought a rather hard to find copy of an early 190's jangle pop/female voiced group called The Popguns, the album being Eugenie - pretty standard stuff of its type, of its genre, but very well down, with strong melodies - nicely seems to straddle the line between twee pop and a slightly grittier guitar tone.

Also bought, on chance, two albums by a band called Sad lovers and Giants - not even heard a clip yet but they came highly recommended.

Was in Cash Converters the other day rummaging through their second-hand CDs and bought:

Baby One More Time - Britney Spears (the single, it cost me 10p And that would've cost £3.99 back in the day!)
C'est La Vie - B*Witched (a steal for 10p - CD singles)
FutureSex/LoveSounds - Justin Timberlake

Paid the grand total of 60p for the lot! Singles were 10p, albums were 40p.

^^ If you like Bruce Springsteen you should check out The Gaslight Anthem they're music is very much influenced by Bruce's.

Give Kings of Leon's new album a go, I think it is actually their best album out of all six of them (their first two coming close seconds)
