Ordered "Cartwheels" by Ward Thomas for Mum a couple of weeks ago. I got a free download with it and it quite enjoyed the album. It's a lot more pop than their first album though.
I've preordered "My Universe" by The Shires. I like what I've heard so far so I'm looking forward to it arriving on Friday. I have next week off so I'll be able to listen to it properly then! |

Two compilations of work by The Temprees because I only have a few tracks by them via some various artists albums and because I doubt I'll find the Japanese reissues of their first couple of LPs at a reasonable price.
The Temprees - The Best Of... (Stax, 1987) The Temprees - Dedicated To The One I Love (Stax, 1994) with three unreleased tracks including this gem: 'Out Of My Reach' : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMzZEU8NoVY |

I'm now entering that tough part of the year when my family and friends ban me from buying music so they at least have a chance of getting me something for Christmas that I haven't already got.
I was doing really well for a couple of hours but then the insects under the skin started wriggling and crocodiles started running up and down the walls so I cracked and ordered a copy of South of Heaven by Slayer and a split 7" by Red Aunts/Claw Hammer. Hopefully they will tide me over until the new Kate Bush album at the end of next month, otherwise I'll be in the queue outside Boots at 6 every morning. |
