And about time to, over 15 years of fame - and only just beginning to reach fame in the US charts.

Just now? She already had a hit with "Can't Get You Outta My Head" (is that what it's called?). That was at least a year ago.

Kylie had 3 top 50 singles in 1988 in the USA - one reached number 3 (Loco-Motion). A hit album, too (Kylie). Then a long gap till 2002. Very strange.

But she has just won a Grammy for Best Dance Song.

It will look nice next to her Smash Hits awards!

She isn't, as far as I can tell. Not since this time last year.

Perhaps goody2shoes would enlighten everyone!

That's what Goody does best!

She hasn't yet reached the offical billboard chart, but is climbing up the dance charts with Slow.

Ok, she won a Grammy, I never knew, it wasn't mentioned on the news with the other Grammy stuff. Just wondering what the post was referring to.

I am surprised that the last single before Slow did not work for her in the US (the one with multiple Kylie video )

Come into my world - it was the song that won the grammy.

I must agree with a point made in Q the other month.

Goldfrapp must be fuming that Kylie has basically stolen all her hard work!

Does anybody think the sort of tune Slow and Red Blooded Woman sounds similar to Donna Summer - I Feel Love?

Just because it has an electroclash feel doesn't mean that Goldfrapp has a patent on it - there's no reason as to Fischerspooner shouldn't be equally as annoyed!!!

And as for Slow - yes it has a vague Moroder-ish bassline but that's probably the most used bassline in dance music ever!!

I'm mentioned a while back, that Red Blooded Woman actually sounds a helluva lot like Destiny's Child's "Survivor", it's just alittle slower. The string riff is almost identical.

But Goldfrapp is an artist that singles wise struggles to reach the Top 40 (Even though she probably could not care less for the singles chart). And then Kylie after 15 years of pop (Except decontrustion) manages to shoot straight to No 1 in the singles chart and goes top 10 with an album that has certain sougs similar to the idea of Goldfrapp's music.
