Colbie Caillat

Has anyone here heard of Colbie Caillat?

She does chilled out pop songs. I would say her music is along the lines of like Corinne Bailey Rae's but much more commericial. Her debut album Coco came out in 2007 and went double platinum in US. She is best known for the top 5single, Bubbly.

Here is the song bubbly

She also did a duet with Jason Mraz which i found many months ago. Heart fm have played it a couple of times so maybe it could be Jason's next song.

She can also be found on a track named Breathe on Taylor swift's Fearless album.

Here is the song Breathe.

She has recorded a new album named Breakthrough which is out late august in the US but us brits get it about mid september. Her new single is called Fallin for you which is also getting some airplay from heart fm

I think she really needs exposure in the Uk and hopefully my post may get her some new fans. Enjoy.

Of course I've heard of Colbie Caillat! Bubbly is far and away her best song. How it was never a hit in Ireland and the UK is anyone's guess. It got to No.1 in Australia, top five in the US and all over Europe, and could only reach No.48 and No.58 in Ireland and the UK respectively. I also love The Little Things, but didn't take too much to her Jason Mraz duet. I like Fallin' For You though.

Just edited the post with the song she did with Taylor

I love her song with Jason and The little things is an absolute tune.

She's massive in the US, never really took off here though, despite itunes' eforts to give her music away and give her front page exposure. I think it was timing more than anything, the British media were starting to build up this 2008, year of the British girls thing when she came over so

I think she's ok but nothing special, I love Realize though.

I wouldn't say she is Massive. I mean Lady gaga is massive. Colbie aint. But she is fairly successful that she has had 3 top 20 singles and a double platinum album.

She was in the top 20 selling albums in the US last year, pretty big.

That is big fairly good but still isn't massive. She's underrated and should be massive.

That "Bubbly" song was shockingly bad. No surprise it wasn't a hit over here.
