Any sign of a release for this thing yet? Vodafone called me and offered an upgrade, but I asked about N900 and they said it wasnt listed for this year!

All they are doing is looking at the forthcoming devices range, many devices don't make it onto this intranet site until a week before launch.

But i'm not convinced VF will range the N900 as i've heard Nokia will not allow operator software on the device. There is no way VF will range a device without Vodafone Live!

But you need to remember the N900 is not being marketed as a mobile phone rather than a mobile computer (l think nokia have there own term for this but can't remember what it is).

So might not be an issue for VF.

According to that press release, there are many customisation points for operators, so hopefully it will come to Vodafone.

So apparently it is coming to Voda in October, 35 quid, no charge for the phone!
