Oh yes, he was outed by one of the tabloids a few years ago - he didn't seem to have a problem with it, but expressed surprise that in this day and age, it was of any interest to anyone.

Really?

Matthew Broderick? Heard a rumour once-also what about Gerard Butler. Lots of stories about him being gay?

He was linked to Fred the weatherman at the time. Will mean nothing unless you're familiar with Granada weather.

My sister used to tell me that but as I live down South (she lives in Chorlton) I had no idea who she meant until I stayed with her

I work with someone who was shocked when I said John Barrowman was gay. He claimed he thought he was just "being American".

Blimey, didn't know about Richard Wilson. Derren Brown and Stephen K Amos were surprises at the time as well. And I remember being surprised that the lead singer of Green Day was bisexual. There are a quite a few people's sexuality I found out by browsing through Wikipedia's gay/bisexual people categories.

I took an evening class last year and the subject of conversation somehow got onto John Barrowman and a lot of people in the class had no idea he was gay. It was funny "no he's not... I heard he got married recently" "yes, to a man!".

Fred the weatherman lives down the road from a friend of mine, and he's lived with his partner for donkey's years. I don't know if he ever had a fling with Jimmy Corkhill though!

Is that Fred the weatherman the same guy who used to do the weather on This Morning back in the Richard and Judy days on a giant map which he used to stand on when it was filmed in Liverpool? He does the weather here for Central on the weekend as well.

Didn't know about Stephen K Amos.

Talking of Jimmy Corkhill and Leon Lopes from Brookie is Phillip Olivier gay?

As for Andi Peters, about a year ago I texted Texperts and asked them if he was gay because for some reason I had a feeling that he was and I got a reply saying that he was and that it was common knowledge in the industry for years.

Indeed I will!

And yes to the poster who enquired, Fred is the map jumping chap who used to on This Morning. He seems a thoroughly likeable man.

Aled Jones the Welsh warbler is a married man isn't he? Aled on the Chris Moyles show is openly gay.

I didn't know Leon Lopez was gay, and only found out a couple of months ago that Scott Mills was. At least they don't feel the need to prance around like queens the way John Barrowman and Graham Norton do.

Ah, he may have been straight for 49 years but he appeared to have been turned by this prime beauty:

I'm not seeing it myself, he'd have squashed poor Michael

The only reason why I asked is cos he has done a lot of topless photoshoots for gay men's magazines and played a gay character in Hollyoaks: In The City, but yes he has a great body, as does Christian from Eastenders who is gay in real life.
