Hello everyone!

My name is Dave, and I'm a first time poster on these boards. I"m sure that some of you may have seen my similar post in every Corrie message board I can find.

As most of you know, TPTB have announced a cull of 5 characters. One of which is Harry Flagg. Now, if you're like me, you really enjoy Harry's character! I've only been a fan of Corrie for about a year now...but from what I've read everywhere else, Harry is the type of character that personifies the way Corrie used to be.

After reading quite a few "Why are they axing Harry" posts, I decided to start an online petition in order to try to reverse that decision. In a few short days, we're closing in on 400 signatures...but we need your help! Please, if you wish to see Harry stay...take a few moments to visit the URL below, and sign the petition.

I contacted Iain Rogerson's agent yesterday, just to make sure that the departure of Harry wasn't due to his own decision...and they said it wasn't...that they were just as surprised as we were about the announcement.

Anyway, I know that there are thousands of us out here...who read these boards every day, and who love Corrie. Please, take a few moments out of your day to sign the petition. Let's try to save Harry!!

It wasnt you capital G it was obviously lower case g that confirmed it, look at the post carefully, not only that I have a feeling it may have been blig blig lower case g look at the stars he has around him

Honestly though...his contract runs out in July. So, if this petition WERE successful, it would just mean that he'd get signed to another contract. Of course, Iain could refuse as I doubt that TPTB would have him shackled to a chair in the Studio, forcing him to sign an new contract.

Obviously I doubt my petition will do much to change TPTB's minds...however, at least it gives Iain a nod of fan support...and I'm sure that's something he really would appreciate as an actor.
