You could do a meal that involves comunal dishes so that your guests can help themselves and allow conversation to flow and yourself not having to leave the table to get more food. As I am a vegetarian I am not the best one to make up a menu without hurting your feelings. But I think the meal should be taken at a leisurely pace with wine and good company, a wonderful night for all.

Thanks!
We did it a few months ago and it was great fun so we're doing another round before back to school! I'm hoping to get things that are pretty much ready when it comes to it, so theres no pressure or leaving everyone for ages. Not how you expect 16/17 to spend time

Hmm ok I love starters like avocado, mozerlla and tomato, just very simple yet tasty! Main - monkfish is my favourite fish and is lovely done wrapped in pancetta (sp??) or parma ham or done baked in a tomato, garlic, herb and black olive sauce served with new potatoes and some kind of veg. Or something like a paella. Pud I love rhubarb creme brulee!!
