It's not funny any more, it's verging on tragic.

Especially since they were evicted

Well if ITV didn't give them the exposure and show the interviews and auditions they might stop.

Everytime they let people like this through to see the judges it means someone with a modicum of potential may have missed out - it's pointless and not funny anymore. We know they can't sing, so do the judges and I'm sure Emma and her sister know it too. They should be rejected at the application stage.

It was sad and rather disturbing really Emma was just crap, why is she allowed on to make a total arse of herself yet again?

It really irritates me for a number of reasons:-

-She can't sing so shouldn't be put in the position of humiliating herself year after year
-Her act took up 5 mins + in tonights show - what a waste of air time
-Hundreds, no THOUSANDS of people queue up to get a shot at auditioning on TV and many of them that are better than her get booted out at the very first untelevised audition

It was like something out of the blob. Two fatties on stage singing out of tune and making fools of themselves isn't entertainment.

Now I have seen the audition process from the inside, it really brings home just how ridiculous and inconsistent the whole process is. Tonight when I saw this Emma girl(again!) and others, I felt slightly angry and resentful

I agree but blame the producers, not Emma! They are the ones who are happy to give this girl airtime and who can blame her for taking it?

Of course I suspect a producer probably read of her family's plight and contacted the family as opposed to her and her sister actually going along and waiting in line with everyone else because they thought it would make great TV, but I am a terrible cynic...

When I heard she was back, I was hoping she'd have lost some weight - if anything she was bigger than ever, poor girl

I'm not even going to mention her weight - it really has nothing to do with it.

Its her voice - the poor lass really cannot sing. I'm sure she enjoys singing, but unfortunately for her everyone else doesn't enjoy listening to her.

I wish that she'd get the message that, no, she isn't ever going to be able to sing professionally. Keep it for the karaoke eh Emma? and please, please stop embarrassing yourself on national television.

I see what you're saying, but sadly I think her weight is a factor when it comes to this show. If she wasn't obese, she would be nothing more than an unremarkable poor singer and probably wouldn't have got through the pre-auditions. I really feel that her appearance (and her home-made dress) is 90% of why she got put through to the judges' audition back in 2007, as incredibly cruel as it is. Let's not even mention her coming out on a throne during the final - utterly mortifying

Any time after that they'd probably put her through because of the 'former mocked auditionee having another go' angle, but wouldn't it have been lovely if she'd managed to lose a few stone in the meantime? It might have been a sign that she didn't want to be mocked any more, and that if the judges still didn't rate her singing then at least her life was on the right track in other ways

She certainly does need the reality check when it comes to her voice, you're right. If being rejected by Simon Cowel three times doesn't do it, then what will?
