Humax Foxsat Manual Tuning = EPG problems?
Freesats EPG system only appears to work when using Auto-Tune on the Humax Foxsat-HDR. I've used manual tuning (receiving many more channels) yet I cannot then use the EPG. Anyone know how to fix the conflict? Already tried cable loop + factory reset.

Manual tuning puts you in non-freesat mode and turns the box into a generic free to air box with no access to the 8 day freesat epg. This is only viewable in freesat mode. Menu/settings/STB mode which is only enabled by manually adding at least 1 channel

Unfortunately there is no way to set timer recordings in non-freesat mode.
Many are still hoping the long awaited firmware update may address this lack of functionality. (the panasonic models can timer record in other sat mode, but they in turn cannot do diseq control for multi satellites which the Hunax does do). |
