I don't know about you guys, but I am excited but a bit bummed that we somehow know everybody participating in the series? I know all of these names are a bit speculative, but there are a lot of names cropping up in all the papers. Sometimes, when waiting for shows like SCD or DOI, you can already figure out who is going to be in the line up before the actual launch. Now it seems that we've got more than half of the line up before Tuesday's reveal. There hardly seems to be any surprises. I believe two year's ago, everyone I expected to be on was on, save Brian Capron. As for DOI, you see news reports of all these celebrities practicing at local ice rinks to audition for Torvill & Dean.

My question to you is Do you love being surprised or do you mind being spoiled before the big reveal? Do you think that there will be any shocks this year.

I myself wonder about Fern as she is supposed to be taping a new series of "Mr & Mrs" this autumn, as well as Phil. He was featured in an article for NOTW where he was auditioning for Dancing On Ice. If he was in this year's Strictly lineup, why would he be doing that?

I remember two years ago and the big reveal was a big anti-climax. Brian Capron was only a surprise because he replaced someone (who I've forgotten now)
The biggest surprise on Tuesday will come from who the female pros are paired with. And I'm a little unsure about these late rumours in the NOTW, doubt they will all be true.
I wish I would have resisted temptation and not looked online for rumours, but it's so easy.

Although the BBC seem to have made it more obvious for us to find out this year by showing us the codenames with their partners, we usually know nearly all of the celebs by now anyway, it just appears a bit more definate this year because of the way we found out.

I feel exactly the same about The Big Reveal as I do about the Saturday night spoiler - I love to know what's coming, but I still love to watch!

You know, I've never seen their showdance, I was in a major stroop about Austin and Erin going (and yes, I still blame John S for it, git ) and was boycotting SCD by that stage. Should I watch, or is it better to live the rest of my life without the images in my head, was it really that bad?
