Oh dear all the spontaneity and suspense has gone
Well done whoever is in charge of the show (not)... I am sure that the live shows will be sensational but if last night is anything to go by it won't be worth watching until then. Every single act was semaphored as "great" or "awful" before a single note was sung. Do they really think we are all fools?.
And sorry Simon, after the Susan Boyle video no-one takes that "Oh My God This Ugly Person Really Can Sing" facial expression thing seriously any more. |

There was no suspense in the first place.
Before the new format, it was almost always possible to tell if someone was going through or not within the first few seconds of seeing them (i.e. sad music playing = going through, ugly = not going through, "nobody wants it more than...." = going through). That has not changed. |

Why start yet another negative "i hate the new format" thread when there are loads already?
