Any good Indian (or even middle eastern) eateries in Leicester?

I'll be in Leicester in the next few days, and would like a recommendation on good Indian / Pakistani places to eat out there. I have heard of Belgrave Road but I think most of the places there are Gujrati??? Not what Im looking for really.

I prefer Grilled barbeque stuff but am also up for curries.

Also, can anyone recommend any nice Middle Eastern places in the area? Ideally somewhere with grilled food, but open to suggestions.

Price wise .. the cheaper the better

Oooh there will be many answers to this I feel I am still half asleep (despite being up for 6 hours!) so I can't recall many right off the top of my head! Belgrave Road is one of the better places to go, there are a few places down Narborough Road as well.

Are you a veggie? There are two gorgeous veggie restaurants called Mirch Masala - one is in town, one is on or near Belgrave Road. They do all sorts, Indian, Italian, and Mexican I think, and also do a lunch buffet if you prefer that. It is so good. Not sure if they have a website, I will have a look.

nah, not a veggie, but I'll eat Halal, which is what most down Belgrave Road will do I imagine? As I said, isnt Belgarave Road mostly South Indian stuff, which is mainly veggy ?
