At last we start to see some relatively competetive autumn schedules start to unfold.
Mondays look tight with Waking the Dead and Blue Murder going head-to-head. The Bill gets some respite on Thursdays, at least in the short-term then - but theres plenty of BBC dramas to be placed yet. Interesting that they've suddenly held back Material Girl. Clearly not that confident in it - frankly, by how it sounds, its the sort of thing I'd like to see held back indefinately.
The ITV schedule would leave Doc Martin destined for Sundays - though thats obviously not the most creative use of a young XF lead in for the evening!

I'd hoped Benidorm might get the slot, giving it a big chance to hit the bigtime - instead, it'll probably wind up back on Fridays.
Oh, of only they'd let us schedule their darned shows!
