Nor me, to me it doesn't sound that promising, but let hope it is - the UI is one area that I would really like to see changed, particularly around the area of file deleting and folder maintenance... thinking about it I wonder if the minor change could be an understatement and the delete function will suddenly be allowed whilst recording and be faster?

This is the pre update isnt it? So everyone has the 003 before they update to the proper update. Not much to get excited about as people already have the 003 and would have reported anything good here.

I doubt it's anything significant. V03 has been on new boxes for months, so far no-one's posted anything different from v02. It's not new just not been OTA

It was a tongue in cheek comment hence the 'wild speculation'

maybe it is just a spelling-mistake on one of the screens, like favorite -> favourite

I was wondering if the HD box will get an upgrade as well, being as from what we've be lead to believe this upgrade is to enable the future upgrade to enable iplayer.

May be they replaced the 2 by a 3 to let us know they are still working on it

I'm hoping that nothing gets buggered up and / or my scheduled recordings don't decide to go walkabout.

Early doors "on tour" starts on Thurday is the plan so I might be able to sort any problems as long as the plan doesn't change. I must remember to check my paper scheduled recordings is up to date tonight!

25th: does that mean overnight 24th- 25th or 25th-26th?

Can I leave HDR in standby or must it be on? I've never had an OTA update of that nature before.

Probably quite close to the truth. It's the next update that I am really looking forward to. It seems there will not be much some people don't already have in this update.

Oh well...
