3G phones and sim cards
Hey,
I have purchased a Motorola A835 and was wondering if it needed a special sim card to function, or will I be able to use it with my old pay as you go genie sim? My friend told me that I may be able to use it, but not for video calls, is this true? Many thanks, W. |

Another problem is that 3 phones seem to be locked to the card they are supplied with.
I tested this with my mate when we swapped cards to see if any 3g USim card would work in a 3 phone, but it didn't. I have also seen the odd post on other forums saying that 3 phones are locked to the original supplied usim, making 3g phones purchased on Ebay etc. pretty much useless... |
