Remember though - A Classic BB strategy is to lie low at the start then work your way up. Everyone in All-Stars knew that and that likely effected the decisions. (And as ive already said, preconceptions of the under-the-radar strategy have affected seasons recent also)
BB3 Had Danielle doing that, BB4 had Jun doing the same, BB5 with Drew, Diane and Cowboy, BB6's Maggie, BB10s Dan and Memphis, BB11's Kevin, BB9's Adam to an extent as well. That could have been a prominent thought. I mean Nakomis was already known for her 5-finger plan and known to be highly strategic, Diane was already known to be Nakomis's strongest ally so she was tarred that way and as you said, Alison was already a danger. Jase however :/ That was the dumbo move. Then again aside from James, the BB6 crew were never that great strategy-wise, Howie being very dumb in that sense, Janelles best move was winning many comps and Kaysar is overrated. At the start of the season, I think Diane had a huge target on her back. I rate her very highly from BB5 - perhaps as the most underated player ever, but by the time Janelle had won her second HoH, Diane had clearly just given up. The three allies she had in the game had all gone in a row, and she had clearly given up. With Boogie vetoed, Janelle had a great oppurtunity to put someone who was a legitimate threat out of the game with Erika as the pawn, but wasted a golden oppurtunity on Diane. I like Janelle, and I actually wanted her to win that series, but she made so many mistakes in Allstars that to be honest she didnt deserve to win in the slightest. If she didnt suddenly gain super-human competition skills, she'd have been one of the biggest let downs of the lot. ![]() Oh and also, I totally agree RE Kaysar. I dont see why in the slightest he has such a huge fanbase when in two seasons he flopped so badly. His only move was putting together the Sov alliance, which actually for all their plusses in personality were pretty shambolic and always were going to be. Other than that, he is just a total fail of a player. I dont think he was particularly likeable anyway.. He was alright, but was hardly a Saint

I think Kaysar and Nakomis are both way overrated.

I like Kaysar as a person, and as a player I realy wanted him to do well, but he was a bit of a fail. Still need to see BB5...

Add Diane to being also overrated as well. Majorly so since a lot of what she did was pre-empted by her showmance buddy Drew who was thinking more about the game.
Diane was more like how Jordan was. Happily following along. |

Basically BB6 was Kaysar vs Maggie with Kaysar being far too openly active (hence why he was targeted so actively) and Maggie being so low key (Hence why she wasnt)
In fact Maggie is also a good contender in that sense for best BB player as she practically controlled everything that happened on her alliance and even controlled a lot that happened on the opposite side. Then again, she did win with a 4-3 vote leaving her as a bit -_- |

Diane was more like how Jordan was. Happily following along. I really rated Diane highly in BB5 - I think she more than most players knew how to make and ditch an alliance, and would have won her season if she wasnt love blinded. In hindsight she should have gotten rid of Drew much earlier, but I think the fact that her alliance still adored her despite her turning on them says it all. Comparing her to Jordan is really a serious injustice. Diane may have made decisions with Drew, but I took her as the trousers in that partnership. Jordan was actually hopeless at the game, and had litterally no idea where to even begin playing. I think her hopeless rambling at the final said it all, because she was simply an extention to Jeff, and then tried to latch onto Michele when he left. Winning the final HoH against Kevin is about the only thing she managed to do in the game for herself.

Then again, she did win with a 4-3 vote leaving her as a bit -_- I've made no secret of the fact that I thought Maggie was a great player. She glued her alliance together, and actually had a great poker-face - I only remember about two occasions where her mask ever really slipped, and to be fair, she took a lot of abuse for Howie and Janey I think that was Maggie's big strengths - she knew how to hide her emotions from the others. Sure, her gameplay wasnt particularly fun to watch, but to be fair she did a great job in making the final when in reality, the Sov 6 should have taken her out straight after Eric. I think that the Sov 6's major error in the game was getting personal and going after Jennifer instead of Maggie in Janelle's first HoH week - Jennifer going was a satisfying justice for their ally, but made 0 strategical sense, while removing Maggie would have splintered the Nerd Herd due to April and Ivette's loathing of each other ![]() I didnt particularly like her, but I then I dont share the hatred for the Nerd Herd that most people do. (Jennifer aside, they didnt really annoy me that much unless they were bitching for their dwarf-leader, who I also hated )The worst winners of the game are unquestionably Jordan, though I did like her, and Adam who never once impressed me as a player.

Drew/Diane wise, I still think Drew made most the decisions which led him there and Diane often just gets far too much credit.
Adam-wise though I slightly disagree. He knew when to stay quiet and knew when to cut his allies loose. He also knew throwing challenges early would be key. Though his actions AFTER the BB9 game Yeah.... It just proved the BB9 lot (Minus maybe Sharon) were not all they were cracked up to be. (and yes I include James in that list who was really just a Janelle with zero ability to win an essential HOH)

For example, he knew having a secret alliance with Sharon would benefit him, but then after making the deal, he did absolutely nothing to maintain that alliance.

Natalie... Gah. The only time any strategy came into play with her was as soon as her showmance was booted. Then she overplayed her hand completely and was shown the door because of it.
I also think Ryans loss was also because of the Jury questioning and him saying that he would share the money with Jen. :P :P I did want Sharon to win so when that 'loaded' question about the secret relationships was given... Gah. ---------------------- Honestly though BB8 was close to that dire level with stupid gameplay being done all over the place by Jen/Dustin/Jameka/Practically everyone. Dick was just lucky with having the Americas Player on his side as well as already having an unbreakable alliance. I wonder how the game would have turned out if there was no AP (of if the AP was just a week thing like in BB10) |

I wouldn't call her the best player ever, but one that has not been mentioned is BB9 Sheila.
While she was not a good competition player, she really had a great social/strategy game. She campaigned vigorously every week for the result she wanted and ended up almost making it to the end.You really had to have the feeds to see her strategic side, since the show edit didn't reflect it. |

I've only seen the latest US season, so I'd go for Michele.
I always remember how she managed to deflect blame for something that happened with Russell onto Chima, orchestrating a massive row between the pair. She made it so close to the finals, I tipped her to win it. |

Danielle BB3. She worked the entire house and no one had a clue until they got evicted.
