Never drink instant, only ever freshly ground Peets Coffee beans - either through the filter machine or espresso machine.

The OP specifically stated instant coffee, so why do the "coffee snobs" have to go on about "real coffee":yawn:

Maybe because the thread's essentially pointless, given that it makes absolutely no difference how you prepare instant coffee as it is guaranteed to taste like shit no matter what you do.

I love a cup of "proper" coffee, as much as anybody, but I don't always have the time to mess around with it, so a quick cup of instant is what is required

I think the two drinks have fairly distinctive tastes, but a good quality instant, made how I like does the job and can be most is most enjoyable

I can have my "real" coffee when I have time to savour it (and clear up the mess )

I boil the kettle..lol

Then add a drop of milk

No sugar

Put a little coffee in me cup( i like it medium)

Pour boiling water into cup

Give it a stir

Leave it to cool alittle

I prefer tea myself though, shock, horror I use teabags!

I don't drink instant coffee, much prefer tea and this is coming from someone who makes coffee in work love the smell but
