Samsung D600 Problem

My wife's D600 has started to play up after our baby gave it a good sucking. After taking it to pieces and letting it dry out it's started to do 2 odd things.

There is now a constant icon of a SIM card on the screen, and the phone keeps coming up with a "memory card inserted" message, quickly followed by "memory card removed".

The phone has no memory card, and as far as I can tell is working fine. But the constant messages and associated beeps are driving all of us mad.

Any ideas?

Liquid ingress, evern minimal
these errors are likley to go away, in fact most likely will get worse.

Give the memory slot a good blow! Might work.
