Their summer food is finishing on Tuesday so was wondering if anyone knew what meals they will be having next?

No idea, but I always seem to find that when McDonalds are doing special meals, they're usually tastier than the regular meals on the menu (Big Tasty is a prime example. Yum. ).

Please say the caramel milkshakes are staying, I've developed a mild addiction to them!

I didn't like that at all. I haven't had a McD for nearly a year and that was a summer special burger (texan or something) and it wasn't great.

If I go again i'll stick to the regulars.

I loved the Cadbury's Dream McFlurry with strawberry sauce, it's a variety that's only been done once. Bring that back please!

OOh! The M is my favourite, it's the last burger I had in McDonalds and it was amazing.

Also the new McFlurrys sound great! Well the mint one, the Mint Cornetto one is unbelievably good. I'm not a major fan of Mint Ice Cream, but I love mint sauce mixed in with Vanilla which is strange. Excited for Tuesday now lol

Was watching Supersize Me last night and out of interest went onto the McDonalds website (eventhough I'm a vegetarian) and look at these monstrosities that are being launched in America. I can hardly believe it!

What's wrong with them? They're only one-twelfth bigger than a quarter pounder...which isn't huge.

I was only being light hearted - but since you asked!

790 Calories

17g Saturated fat (20g is the max you should have in a day)

2070 mg of Sodium (basically 86% of the salt you should have in the day)

...what's right with them?

Still nothing wrong. Everyone knows McD's isn't a health food shop and there are far less health options sold elsewhere, purporting to be better for you.

Everything in moderation is the key.

Your hysterical initial post wasn't light-hearted at all, btw. Neither is this, come to think of it.

I don't know why that upset you, perhaps you need to ask yourself that.

Anyway, I find your view point ridiculous. Each to their own.

The Third Pounders look great and are obviously healtheir than the double Quarter Pounders you can get here so hardly "monstrosities"

The Mushroom and Swiss looks great, the other two not so much because I hate McDonalds plain cheese.

my brother in law had a couple of those while we were out in america, he said they were very nice. I was very proud of myself as I did not have a McD's BK or KFC the whole time I was there
