If Romeo & Ruby do have to get together I hope there's no affair, Indi doesn't deserve that. Tbh, I reckon it would screw up two good couples in one. I like both Indi and Romeo and Ruby & Casey. Having said that, they do have good natural chemistry together.

Oh please H&A can't we have Cornelia Frances as a regular?

Everyone lifts their game when she's around. That or she makes everyone around her look better.

I actually think she works well as a recurring character.

It's always good to see her back but when she was here for a prolonged period last year I felt she lost a bit of her edge.

To me it looks like the writers are putting the characters together just because the actors happen to be a couple in real life.

I loved the idea that Indi and Romeo would be a young couple that actually stayed together. After everything Romeo did to get Indi back after cheating on her with Ruby, and how guilty they portrayed him to feel, it doesn't make sense for him to do that again.

If they make Indi cheat then I won't be happy as that would be going completely against her character.

However I can't see that unless a third party was involved that they would split. They both seem to love each other and seem sensible enough to know that a relationship takes work. Plus they aren't just going out, they are married and live together.

Copletely agree! I kind fo think that the actors are too funnily enough. I don't think that they would put them together, i hope that they realise how much everyone likes Indi and Romeo together.

I can't get the Roo/Harvey storyline. Does she like him or he her, i don't get it!! I really hope that they don't get them together!

It will make both Romeo and Ruby look awful, if they get together in any way while Indi and Romeo are together. Romeo is already looking really bad with the way he is basically going behind Indi's back. Him saying, that he can't say no to Ruby when she needs his support and saying no to his wife...

Yes, Indi is controlling, we all see that. It takes time for her to come around new not so rock solid ideas, but Romeo isn't giving her room to come around and he isn't talking to her. He lets Indi go on about her ideas without saying a word, and then after a long time has a go at her and erupts. That isn't a way to go about marriage. He needs to talk to her about his dreams, about what his plan really is, and how to make it happen. He isn't doing this. IMO it's the same thing happening again, as did when his sister was around. He talked to his sister, who bashed Indi, Indi tried to make a connection, got it thrown to her face, and then Romeo went behind her back, used her job as his cover up for it, dangered her position at the said job, and hid it for a long time. Then he has his "you don'r understand me" speech, when he doesn't even tell her what to understand.

I have lot of feelings about this, I know.

I absolutely love Sasha. The character has been built up perfectly, she is really flawed, makes mistakes, and is allowed to make up for them, admitting them.

I don't even think Indi is controlling. She is just sensible and sees a long term plan rather a short term one. That's what marriage is.

It's not like she doesn't encourage Romeo to follow his dreams, she wants him to make use of his potential. If he comes up with an idea and Indi rightly points out a problem with it, he acts like a stroppy teenager!

Your'e right, Indi tried hard with his sister, but it's never enough. I don't know if Romeo is threatened that Indi has better career prsopects than him (you know what men can be like, he may also feel emasculated that he is living off her family) but sometimes it's like he doesn't even like her and is forever putting her behind other people.

I don't believe a man would be friends with the woman he cheated on his wife with! I suspect H&A will try to make Indi look controlling when she says she is not comfortable with it, but in reality no wife would be!

Ok Ruby is having a tough time but it's about priorities and his should be Indi.

Well, regarding Romeo & Indis current situation I'm just going to post what I posted on BTTB, as it seems to have gone down quite well there.

I need someone to clear something up for me as I don't mind admitting the only sport I follow is footie and I know absolutely zilch about the surfing scene. Is surfing a dead end career, OR is it possible to make a reasonable amount of money out of it?

If it is possible for him to make a good living out of it then I would like to note two things.
- Romeo needs to sort out a plan B. Anything could happen to end this career at any minute- look at Mink. He could be struck down by illness, or have an accident and break a leg at any time. He really needs to take some responsibility and think of a solid back up plan so he and Indi are not stuck for money again if anything goes wrong. He really should think about getting some qualifications so he has more options open to him.
- Secondly, if he is determined for this to be his career path then I do NOT want to see him quitting it if he decides it's too difficult. If he can't see surfing through then he won't be able to see anything through. The only excuses I will accept are (a) illness/ injury forcing him to stop, or (b) if it came down to picking between his career and his marriage.

Also, I have a few notes for the pair of them:
(a) Firstly, if you need to have a serious conversation with someone you absolutely cannot back them into a corner and expect them to react well. Romeo should have waited until Indi got home and spoken to her about it then rather than just telling her what was happening and leaving. He has the most shocking communication skills.
(b) If Romeo thinks he can merrily go off surfing with Ruby without Indi objecting then he is living on cloud cuckoo land. I understand he means well and wants to help her but (in the nicest possible way) she is not his problem. He needs to get his priorities straight and realise what a bad move this would be for their marriage. I really cannot envisage Indi having no problem with this given their history.
(c) Romeo really needs to think of this from Indis point of view a bit more. If he did she would see she is looking at the big picture. She doesn't think surfing is going to provide a family home for them and she's never been in a position where she hasn't had security before so this is bound to scare her. Assuming surfing can provide this then he needs to prove it to her, and needs to find a way to support her whilst chasing his dream.
(d) Indi also needs to think about this from Romeos point of view a bit more. He had a point when he asked her if she married a guy in a suit or if she married him. You can't pledge your life to someone then set about trying to change them. You marry them for who they are and Romeo is no salesman. She cannot pick his career for him- this is something he needs to work out for himself and he will only resent her if she sticks him in a job that makes him miserable. She seems very dismissive of him at times and assuming that he had now got "the whole chasing your dream thing out of [his] system" was very naive of her. Romeo needs to stand up to her so she know's he's serious about it.

They seem unable to look at this from the others POV and they obviously just need to be locked in a room together and forced to talk, or they're just going to keep going round in circles!

Indi has grown up in a family environment which values academic achievements and is used to being in a stable environment. Romeos family background is far more dysfunctional and he doesn't really know how to function in Indis world. They need to talk, and they need to understand each others psyche as they really seem to just try and overpower each other and this will only result in resentment. Communication is, as always key.*

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really hope they're not going down the Romeo and Ruby route. For one, I like Indi and Romeo together. Two, they may have chemistry off-screen, but Luke and Rebecca have absolutely none on-screen IMO.

And that baby had better be Heath's!

Please no!!!! I just don't believe that you would go from not interracting at all with someone, to having an affair with them? When he cheated with her it was unbelievable too, for the same reason. It would be even more unbelievable now, as they seemingly have no contact what-so-ever.

Anyone heard the spoiler that Tyler is going to try and stab Casey in future episodes? Does anyone think he will?

Really disappointed to hear this. I thought Indi and Romeo would have become possibly the first soap characters ever to survive a teenage marriage! I really like Ruby but think she's better off with Xavier to be honest.


By the way, do you think Sasha will stick around in the show, especially following her revelation? I hope she does stay!

Home and Away was brilliant yesterday - Hope this means its returning to form...Am loving April and Heath!!

I can't stand April and Heath. I get that she would be infatuated with the guy she slept with for the first time, but Heath is not even trying to charm her, he is treating her horribly, is rude, all they have is making out sessions where ever they are. And yet, she begs for more.


What I don't get is, how is he pulling Henri to his non-charms. He told her he was going to a dinner with April, but then showed up to sleep with Henri. And she wants to continue it, even though she knows he is still with April? Am I supposed to believe, that she actually got an education for herself, studied to be a teacher? And all this for Heath, the guy who doesn't even try to be nice or chraming, he just grunts his orders around.

Casey got me to cry. The actor is quite good. I also liked the family dynamic with the Braxtons. Heath is so insecure, that he had to make Casey's issues about himself.
