So Brax will likely die. See Charlie stay with her a bit then she'll say it's not his time he'll come back

The non stop Braxton drama is getting a bit boring. Also, they did the whole "Charlie is coming back" pallarva far too early. They should have done it a month or two before she came back.
I am liking the fact Miss Marilyn is actually getting a bit of a storyline now. |

I still like Maddy. I don't like the fact that she gets a hard time by fans. It reminds me of Melody a few years ago. She was quite popular initially, but when the character started rebelling, she became hated by fans of the show. I didn't like this when there were people at the time like Jack Holden who were doing far worse things but still being loved.
It leaves me to wonder, (and I'm not referring to anyone in particular on here), whether Maddy would be disliked if she was a good-looking male, because I don't think she would. |

I HATED MELODY ![]() But people like Jack Holden on the other hand - there were no reasons for the things he did, but he got away scot free from viewers. He thought he was above the law and would be corrupt and bend the rules for his own ends. He was a useless police officer. He even arrested Roman for no proper reason; just because he was the father of Martha's baby. He let his personal feelings get in the way of his job far too often. In fact, he even died because he defied orders from his boss by going to the development site. That's why I said I can't help but wonder if Maddy would still be disliked if she was a young, good-looking male. Jack was a young, good-looking male that a lot of people fancied and to me, it was because of that that these people excused his behaviour, when he was, IMO, far worse with his actions. |

I don't know why she just annoyed the hell out of me. I think he mother was probably an influence on that. That said though nothing is compared to my hatred of Tamara. At the very least as annoying as Melody was, i did kind of feel sorry for her.

I can't think of anything that Maddy has done to suggest that she's ever thought about anyone other than herself. I didn't mind Melody - but I don't think they did her character any favours by pairing her up with sanctimonious Geoff and then doing a 180 degree turn of her characterisation. |

The problem with Maddy is that she seems to have few redeeming features at the moment. She is horrible to everyone she supposedly cares about. She is often disrespectful to Roo, who has bent over backwards to be there for her. She broke up with Spencer for no reason whatsoever, and then has the cheek to act like the wounded party even though the break up was always her choice. And then she acts like a brat about Spencer trying to be supportive to Rosie - even though she knows about the hell that Rosie has been through.
I can't think of anything that Maddy has done to suggest that she's ever thought about anyone other than herself. Quote:
Maddy is an energetic, responsible girl who shows a maturity beyond her 16 years. She’s routine oriented and sets very high standards for herself. She also needs structure in her life, and to stay organised - if anything goes out of kilter, Maddy’s life can become a chaotic mess.
We haven't really seen the mature side of Maddy in recent episodes. But the thing about "if anything goes out of kilter, Maddy's life can become a chaotic messs" rings true at the moment. She feels out of kilter because she's not with Spencer and she really wants him back.

It leaves me to wonder, (and I'm not referring to anyone in particular on here), whether Maddy would be disliked if she was a good-looking male, because I don't think she would. I am going to pick 3 of the new characters, Maddie, Chris and Spencer. I read tons of negative comments about Chris when he initially joined. People said, that he couldn't act, and his good looks weren't enough to keep him on the show. Initially he was an arrogant jerk, who was disrespectful to Maddie, and just wanted to break up Maddie and Spencer, so Spencer would come back home. But he started to change. He showed a sympathetic side with his friendship with Indi, who somewhat broke his heart for the first time. He was there for Spencer when he and Maddie broke up. And then when he left many wished he had stayed, because the development in the character. Now Maddie and Spencer moved to town, because they wanted to be together, and their parents wouldn't let them. Their first "big" fight was because Maddie tried to pressure Spencer to have sex when he wasn't ready, and got angry about it. Had it been a guy pressuring a girl, the hate the guy would have received. ![]() Maddie has been immature and rude, clashed with Roo many times, even though Roo has bent over backwards for her and Spencer. And the thing is, she doesn't have to stay with Roo, she wasn't abused etc. She broke up with Spencer, and he tried to move on, get other friends and be helpful to others, and keep active, and not wallow in self pity This wasn't good with Maddie, she actually acted like she wanted Spencer to be miserable and pine after her. She acts like he is not allowed to have life or friends outside of her. She dumped him, but wants him to act like they are still together, without the benefits of being together. whereas Spencer, even though broken hearted about the break up, isn't controlling Maddie. He has stepped up and been there for Rosie who needs the help of her friends after being raped and getting pregnant. And he is doing this just out of friendship and care, not because he can get something from Rosie. So just saying, that people don't like Maddie because she is female, and would be more liked if she was male, is unfair. |

But why? There were reasons for her acting the way she did. She wasn't allowed to have a life of her own when she was living with her mother. She was not allowed to do anything without her mother's permission. And when she moved to Summer Bay House to live with Miles. she was free from her. But because she didn't have her mother controlling her, she didn't know what the boundaries were and wasn't used to the freedom it entailed. This was why she rebelled. It wasn't as if she was doing it to deliberately cause havoc or be nasty. She just didn't know any better.
But people like Jack Holden on the other hand - there were no reasons for the things he did, but he got away scot free from viewers. So Brax has to chose between Ricky and Tamara as to who to save - is there an option C where he leaves them both never to be seen again?

I reckon Brax gets shot and is visited by Charlie as he hovers between life and death which is an almost identical story to Sally and Tom five years ago

I loved Harvey having man time with John and John assuming that Roo was going through the menopause. And Jett's little plan to get John and Marilyn talking was so cute.
I find myself rooting for Sasha and Spencer to get together. |

Sorry if this has been asked but has the street that John, Jett and the Braxtons live on changed? A few weeks ago at Oz pace John and Jett walked down some side street to their front door which was nothing like the old one (no porch for a start) and the Braxton house from outside hasn't been the same as the old for ages. Little things like this annoy me when the outdoor shot isn't essential.

H&A is notorious for doing this. They have changed the location for the beach house countless times over the years and I don't know what the point is because they never film outside the bech house! Summer Bay House burned down over 10 years ago in real life and they still use the original shot for it so don't know why they can't do this with the beach house?! It's an insult to viewers. They've changed Leah's too
