Really enjoying the Sid/Marilyn storyline.....really hope that works out In fact the 'older' characters in Home and Away are really strong at the moment.

The yahoo thread seems to think he's 31. That would make him about the same age as Sally Fletcher.

There's a definite suggestion towards very early characters - him watching the film of the bay starring Alf, setting up Colleen etc. Although I could be reading too much in to that as he torched Charlie's police car & is playing weird head games with Nicole and Sid.

I'm confused!

Just thought - Elijah thought he recognized him from somewhere, but the only previous link he has to the bay is Vinnnie...

It mentioned on the H&A website of Elijah falling back "like he hit an evil force", so maybe Elijah just had an encounter with the devil?

The fiver episode yesterday was very good and am I the only one who thought John Palmer accent was hilarious, not sure if he was intentionally messing about in that episode but it sounded so odd!

Initially I hated John Palmer but now he's become almost likeable in a weird way. Also, I liked the actor when he was in A Country Practice so maybe that helps. I like the way he reacts to Xavier, it's amusing.

i really like john...the characters improved a lot the last few months.

anyone know whats going to happen with ruby? she seems a bit 'stuck' now, with her silly crush, jealousy of bianca, slagging after xavier...where can they go now? has rubys diabetes magically disappeared? she got into it very well, took me years lol.

Ruby's going to have a total teen melt down - UK pace we'll see the start of it this week & then the rest in September when H&A comes back after the summer break.

Because Charlie doesn't seem to realise that she has a daughter, she certainly doesn't pay any attention to her or look out for her.

I'm really enjoying the Tony/Rachel storyline now it's not about boxing; I thought they were back to how they used to be and I loved seeing them joking with each other and talking about things maturely rather than snapping at each other.

is elijah leaving? ive read nothing on him...just seems odd, after him wanting to marry her so much, then the parents, just to go and leave? even if he stays...realises he loves her too much after all it'll be odd.

is this rachel and tony leaving? job in america? yeah, rachel gets so annoying, bickering and whinging, they are great together when happy.

H&A has always been my fave soap but now i think its time for some new script writers. Its getting so repetitive and boring. The same things happening to the same characters over again. its becoming predictable. i'll still watch though

What I find puzzling is a person just suddenly appears and acts as tho' they have been there ages!
Besides just popping up--they don't seem to have a purpose for being there!

Oh I know, I watch Oz pace to It was nice while it lasted but I suppose that they have to give them a dramatic exit! It's such a shame, they're such a good couple but the writers have just given them awful stuff this year. Tony acts like a prize idiot in the upcoming Aus episodes.
