Celebdaq is pretty easy really, once you get to know how their system works.
Prices are rated on the demand for that particular share. Demand is usually dictated by the dividend they are likely to pay.
Dividends are payed at about 1am Friday morning.
So, every Friday morning, I buy shares in whoever I think will get the most press coverage in the coming week. I sell whoever I held the previous week, add the dividend money to the proceeds, then buy maximum into my choice for the week.
Last week I held shares in Charlote Church, got a huge dividend on Fri morrn, then sold the lot & bought max into Mel Gibson for the weekend.
Normally I would have bought someone with Friday's dividends in mind, but I'm gonna get kneecapped tonight, so I just wanted someone who's shares will rise quickly over the weekend (the furore over his new film saw to that)
Kneecapping is Celebdaq's way of stopping people from amassing mega-billions, and so controlling the market by holding a monopoly in a particular share.
Every Monday morning (at about 1am) they check how much every account is worth - those that are worth over a million get kneecapped - their shares are taken from them and replaced with an icon denoting £1m - then you start again from £10,000
Last week I was gonna get over £1m, so I sold some shares to ensure I didn't pass the million mark (about £999,000) and just sat on the cash until after kneecapping. The shares I had in Miss church continued to climb throughout the week, and brought a big dividend on Friday - that put me at £1.8m - Mel Gibson looked good for the weekend so all the divi money went into his shares - I now stand at £2.1m so I'll get 2, £1m icons instead of the usual 1.
Your rating in the league changes every day, and is based on your percentage profit over the previous 7 days.
P.S. anyone who plays - if you wanna make a mini league for this forum I don't mind starting one up.
Just add your Celebdaq I.D. number onto this thread.
P.P.S. Jade's value peaked about 5 days ago, and has been falling steadily since then. Anyone looking for a good price increase, and a good divi this week, I'd recommend J K Rowling.
