The new KFC meal that uses fried chicken as bread...
(excerpt)
'This is perhaps man's greatest achievement or evidence of our civilization's impending doom. Maybe it's both. Meet the KFC "double down." Although no mention of it is made on KFC.com and we have never seen an ad for it ourselves, we are being lead to believe that it is real by Foodgeekery.com. They have crappy cell phone camera footage of a commercial (from Omaha, apparently) for the mysterious beast, as well as photographic evidence of it in the wild. The sandwich consists of two fried chicken fillets wrapped around bacon, cheese and Colonel's sauce. It apparently tastes like you think it would.' http://consumerist.com/5342699/kfc-h...icken-as-bread |

Good news for people with coeliac disease if there's no bread.

Not that I'm at KFC all the time. It could be in other areas since a lot of the fast food places do have some foods only in certain areas. Their grilled chicken is much better than I thought it would be. I actually like it a lot. This "sandwich" is kind of is like a deconstructed Chicken Cordon Bleu in a way I guess. |

But an organic Kobe Beef burger topped with brie on a brioche bun (yes I eat in some poncy places)? A good burger is fantastic. It doesnt even need to be as fancy as my ridiculous (but delicious) example above. Its just a ground up steak sandwich. |

The Double Down Burger sounds amazing though, although would be a bit greasey I reckon, would need to eat it like a twister probably. |
