My current $ky+ box which will soon be sold is set to display at 16:9 and fills the screen of my widescreen TV perfectly and circles for example are of correct aspect. I wil shortly be cancelling sky and intend to buy a Foxsat box, but I have one concern:

On my Humax Freeview 9200 recorder, whatever aspect I select, it does not display correctly on my TV. If I select 16:9 or 14:9, there are black bars at the top and bottom and circles are more of an oval.

Can I expect the same from the Foxsat or have they cracked that one ?

Regards
Dave.

Yes, I have double checked this.

Plus I say, I have my Sky+ box set to 16:9 and it displays fine

Try it on another TV, then you can isolate the TV or the box as the problem.
