I am on Sky Talk Freetime and I got a letter from Sky saying that since August 1st 0870 numbers are free at evenings and weekends. This is excellent news but what exactly does 0870 mean? Literally just numbers that begin with 0870 or does it include 0844, 0845 0861 etc etc. I phoned Sky and the woman who answered had no clue whatsoever and said yes but i could tell she didnt know for sure. So does anyone know the answer to this. Does 0870 numbers mean you get free calls to 0845 etc or not? In early August i had problems with my new PC and had to keep calling an 0844 number and was expecting a huge bill for these calls. But now it looks like they may have been free.
