Thai Crab cakes Step 1 2 cloves of garlic (or more depends on how much garlic you like in your food. half an inch fresh ginger fresh birds eye chillies (I only use one) fresh thai basil or coriander (according to taste Italian basil is just as good) Crush the above transfer to a small bowl and add table spoonful of soy sauce. Step 2 300 grams filleted white fish (cod, haddock or even left over sea bass will do the trick) Put in a food processer until smooth paste forms. Mix paste with crab meat (tinned is better) and add the mixture from step 1. Add table spoonful of olive olive half teaspoonful of sesame seed oil to the mixture. Make sure everything is mixed in really well. Roll into balls and flatten the balls. Brush flat cakes in eggwhite and then coat in bread crumbs (shop bought or homemade both work). Bake in oven for 25 minutes on 180 if you have a fan assisted oven. Serve with green salad or any salad or even a dip. The beauty of this recipe is it allows you to add what ever you want. I am not a great cook I can assure you this recipe works. Never fails to impress my friends. Enjoy

Wonder if any one tried my recipe. Did it work for you? I know it works for me every time.
Sometimes recipes don't work for me.

I may give it a whirl. All the recipes I find for crab fishcakes contain prawns and I'm allergic to them, so this one fits the bill and sound great. Thank you.
