Evening everyone. Oooh Part 7 eh?! Nice to have a fresh new Part for a new SCD! Quite fitting as with Alesha back as a judge, it will be a whole new Strictly chapter for us altogether! (Just hope it's one everyone will enjoy!) Have been looking out for an M&M SCD trailer between beeb shows but not seen one yet. Have seen the Joe & Kristina one though, which I liked.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their bank holiday weekend. I was working today but didn't mind as the weather has been horrible. Hope it has been better for others.

I am enjoying the SCD build-up whilst I can this week, as I have to try and cut back on SCD talk next week. It's Mr SG & I's 20th wedding 20th anniversary. We are going to London for a couple of days and taking in a show, and our present to each other is that I don't mention SCD for a week and Mr SG doesn't play his guitar for a week - we know neither of us will manage it, but I am determined not to crack first!

Just popped in to wish SG and Mr SG a very Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary and have a lovely time in London,enjoy the show, which one are you going to see? It made me laugh to see what present you are giving to each other, good luck with not cracking first.

Hi Svets and VV - aw thanks for your good wishes. Not our actual anniversary until the 9th, so I am getting in as much Strictly talk to Mr SG as I can before the weekend - Sunday is day 1 of our present to each other. I booked our tickets today for Pro Tour for next June in Liverpool - should enable me to drive Mr SG daft for at least another 24 hours in my hyperdom at that alone!

VV, we are going to see Arcadia (Tom Stoppard play), so very much looking forward to that, thank you. Not been to the theatre for far too long so feels like an absolute treat.

Hope all is well with everyone....only two and a half weeks to SCD - yippee! Hope Alesha & Matthew are both really looking forward to it, and going well with their preparations.

I just got sucked into posting in the 'Alesha will be great' thread - don't even know why I did it! I must have been feeling particularly loyal today
End of the day I'm just going to watch the show, enjoy it and not get too caught up in it all. I'm no dance expert so while I respect that others are I watch it from an entertainment point of view - I have no doubt that Austin's paso last year wasn't technical but I bloody loved it!!

anyway I'll prob get all sorts of abuse on there now (although not from TQ) but hey ho!
Also really want to go to the pro tour to see more of the Cutler but can't afford it at the moment, let's hope it doesn't sell out fast!

Evening, all! waves to missy, Violet, Vincy82, sweetmiss and other matteshians! missy, I saw that thread, you've mentioned, I'm just bored of reading about Alesha being judge or moaning about appreciation threads!:sleep: It's all boring like that story from the Daily Mirror, I don't think, Alesha'd worry too much about 10 inches or try to compare to Cheryl Cole! Alesha looks beautiful anyway, some journalists don't have as much energy as Alesha has!
There's a pics of Alesha and Gary Barlow on the cover of Woman's Own magazine, but it's not much inside, they mention, Gary's been working with Alesha on her new album and rumoured to have been giving her some advice on her new job as a judge!

Wow, its only been a few day and we're on Pt 7!

Just popping in quickly as I'm now cruising somewhere in the Med and I've had a lovely birthday. Mr Cuddly is somewhere drinking and I can't sleep but didn't fancy drinking anymore.

The sea's a bit choppy tonight but otherwise its been absolutely lovely and I've got a beautiful piccie of Mr Cuddly and I dressed in our glad rags for my gulp(!) 40th birthday. Rome was pretty amazing, and its only in Pompeii you realise how advanced the Romans were.

Unfortunately the connection on board is pretty slow, so I'll have to catch up when I get back. Thanks to everyone for the links.

I managed to catch a glimpse of the M&M trailer between the main shows and they look pretty good together, but not as hot as our original lovely champions.

There's been some taster dance classes on board and somehow I've managed to miss everyone due to Mr Cuddly's clever engineering of doing activities he wants to do, but tomorrow due to bad weather at the next port, we will be at sea all day, so there will be no escape for him!

Svets - well done on finding the toblerone!

SG - Congrats to you and Mr SG on your 20th Anniversary!

Can't believe you've been married for 20 years though, when I met you you didn't look old enough to have been married for that long!

Missy; I enjoyed reading yours and SGs posts on the "Alesha will be great thread" I thought you both put your points across well and politely, unlike some people!

I can't believe in a fortnight we will have watched two shows and be waiting for the return of ITT and the Winkleman, I'm so excited!
It's utterly balmy how geared up I am!

Hopefully Aleshas looking forward to the first few shows too, she loves SCD so much that I'd hate for all the negative press to alter how she feels about the show and her participation. Go Alesha!

I was looking at the Strictly ticket page on the beeb site, decideing what date I should go for when I noticed it goes from the 31st October to 14th November is there no show on the 7th Nov or is that when Children In Need is on and SCD moves to a smaller studio. They extended the date to the 11th Sept to enter for tickets,which is lucky because I never did pick a day.
