I only found 2 very short videos from last night for Bowie.

Apparently Adam was doing a recording session and a photoshoot in L.A., so I'm not surprised if he was tired.

This is one clip of Let's Dance I found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgo6D5gAtpk

Short clip of Starlight, really jerky camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8w4W...eature=channel

Thanks for the reviews - as you say - whatever Its nice for Allison to get a couple of good reviews though

I heard that Adam didn't go out and sign last night as he was tired from his trip to LA, so he may have found it difficult to maintain his usual energy during his performance - who knows? A close up full version of Bowie would help assess whether that was the case

I think I'm more inclined to believe Forever Awkward's theory though
What theory's that then?

All the guys on the tour bus last night accused Adam of farting and they set it off as a trending topic, and it was still on Twitter this morning as #adamfarted
In fact, it's moved back up to the 5th most trending topic right now!

Adam's just tweeted now. No wonder he's tired if he's getting around 6 hours sleep each night.

adamlambert
#adamfarted? seriously?? lmao my fellow idols are like, 12. maybe 13.

As I tweeted to holly28 this morning; I don't believe that Glittery Aliens fart when they don't even break sweat on stage, despite molesting the mic stand and doing sexy dancing

I only get 6 hours sleep too. But I'm not on a tour, on a tour bus, recording, etc etc I've got no excuses to be tired really cos I could easily go to bed earlier, so I'll allow Adam a reason to be tired.

Can't wait for the album, though I wonder if we'll get it on the same date or a week later? I've had it on pre-order from HMV for ages now, and the website said it would be 7th December way back then.

It still does. It would be good if they released it on the same date but I doubt it'll happen. You never know though.

My only experience is with David Cook last year - if I remember correctly it was a week or so before hard copy CDs were available, but the album was available on UK itunes almost simultaneously with the US release, definitely within a day or two.

ETA - I just read on TWOP that Freddie Mercury died on November 24th........I hadn't realised that.

This is the 2nd part of Adam's set from Kansas from the person who I linked to on the previous page who taped the 1st set.

Slow Ride, Mad World and Bowie Medley

Thanks linny. It makes a nice change to see the whole thing through, rather than just the individual songs.

Thanks for all the links and clips, I haven't jumped ship, just had a few things going on.

I would think they will all be glad when the tour ends, they must be pretty exhausted.

just found Bowie from last night. Yeah!

I'm sure Adam was knackered last night after his LA trip but he still put on a good performance.

BTW anyone notice the coincidental significance of the album release date? It's the day Freddie Mercury died.

Another Bowie - good quality but the sound is a bit out of sync with the video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5QZF...eature=channel

Adam seems to be ignoring things thrown on the stage at the moment.

And they've got WLL as well

Good to see you TFD

I agree, it has been a long tour and I expect they are all looking forward to the end.

I couldn't see anything wrong with that performance myself and if the reviewer is trying to say Allison outdid that, he really should consider changing his career to comedy.

Yeah, even with the sound disconnect on the Bowie video the picture quality is still good. I saw the boa laying forlornly on the stage, probably whimpering for Adam to pick it up and have a play around. He likely wasn't in a playful mood. Ah well.

After DSB, Adam was the first one off stage as usual, though I'm not sure if the others were hanging back a bit longer or if Adam had scooted off super quick. He wasn't at the after party M&G or at the barricades.

Adam and Allison ignored whatever was thrown onstage during SR in Kansas City, but it doesn't seem as though much has been thrown onstage at all over the last couple of tour dates.

Let's face it though, tired Adam still always fires on all cylinders, and vocally he was fantastic last night, even if he didn't about the stage aor play with accessories as much as he has done before.

I'm really thrilled that we have a date set for the album drop, even if according to HMV and Amazon we get it from 7 December. I hope there's some good promo here for it, and I shall be keenly checking out HMV's window for the hope of an Adam poster.

eta: we haven't remarked on the return of Elvis hair! It has been a while so it was due, and it looked very much slicked back than usual. Probably because of Adam's late return from LA, maybe Elvis hair is easier than Emo hair?!

Other things I noticed, Adam didn't throw his head back at all during WLL, maybe so as not to displace Elvis hair? And, when he came to give us ' every inch of my love..' the band seemed to momentariiy stop playing. Did anyone else notice that or was it the video buffering maybe? I did go back and recheck - these things have to be done you know, all in the name of research of course - but it definitely seemed like the band stopped for a second or two, which seemed to give that line more impact.

Anyway, back to drooling...erm, studying that WLL again to see if I'm right.

I had to double check as well, but now that you mention it, the band does seem to stop for a moment at the 'every inch' line.

I really hope he hasn't had his hair cut, the Elvis style does appear to be a bit tidier than usual in these vids. Perhaps he''ll be back to emo tonight so we can tell properly.

Thanks for the updated Bowie medley

Hi and thanks for all the links.

OK, snap polls are just fun. Saying Carrie has substance (voice) over style and Adam has not. Its just a matter of the devil you know with Carrie she is the most successful she has laid her foundation. Adam is not yet tried and tested so he is bound to be second. Not forgetting Carrie is not international Adam has the potential to be. Amen.

http://newsroom.mtv.com/2009/09/02/a...-oh-snap-poll/

Here is another thing, IMO 'lack lustre reviews ' are great. You have to have some room for personal growth-this is essential for longivity. Although yes some reviews are designed to be nasty. Thats cool too. Adam for me has a good head on his shoulder and he understands that critics are just what they are-critics. He knows who he is.

Regards

Babeth

I have scrutinised Adam's shoulders even more closely than I have his hair and I can assure you that he has two shoulders.

Thanks Twizzy

I'd say those bicep curls are having an effect on Adam's arms.

I was just about to say how can he do press-ups in between doing his make-up without getting hot and sweaty, but as we know, he doesn't sweat.
