Oooh, and something else from the guy who wrote the article above. Again, he says some really nice things about her:

Magi Torras' blog

Quick (lol very quick ) translation:

In Murcia with Ruth Lorenzo

Last weekend we went to Murcia to cover the concert by Ruth Lorenzo in Spain.

In an incredible location (Polaris World's La Torre Resort), the singer - known thanks to her participation in The X Factor (UK) - received us in superb form and we were able to do an interview and a photoshoot, including a change of wardrobe.

Ruth not only wins you over, she is one of those people who are surrounded by a magical aura, and you know that she will go far. Add to that one of the most spectacular contemporary Spanish voices that I have heard, a devastating charisma and an innate charm: and we have the whole package.

Here are some videos with her during our stay in the resort:

And here is a photo of Ruth Lorenzo in concert. A piece of advice I give to everyone who is able (and who live in the UK), go and see her!

And here two outstanding performances by Ruth Lorenzo: "Mediterraneo" by Serrat and "Ironic" by Alanis M. And my favourite performance from her journey on the English programme: "Always" by Bon Jovi.

And I'm outta here.

Ironic

And something that is worth posting :

Ruserita's messaged me to say that Ruth did another Amaral song - 'Sin ti no soy nada'

And OMG I can't wait any more, these are too good to hold back

Ironic

Wonderwall

Mediterraneo < I LOVE THIS!!

Another from La Torre:

Knockin' On Heaven's Door

Me too! Thanks

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like the rumour mill's been restarted...

http://www.nowmagazine.co.uk/celebri...-friendship/1/

I have an opinion but I'm here to appreciate Ruth, not argue about articles in trashy gossip magazines. Is it worth discussing now there's been a communication from Alex's side?
This is an appreciation thread, right? If I probably shouldn't be posting articles like this then just shout at me

(PS: watch as this snowballs onto every other news/gossip site by the end of the night)

Hello you! We're all missing Ruth lol. X Factor's missing that spark but we've got her album and hopefully her long, successful career in music to look forward to instead.
Hope all's well with you too.

Things are good with me too, thanks. And welcome back, we missed you.
Two days straight? Haha that's dedication. You all caught up now? Yeah, the album's out around March but she's also hoping to release a second (Spanish language) album later in the same year. Is it possible to have too much Ruth goodness?

Spoiler

Oh god, where to start?? LMAO

Signed with EMI/Virgin. Debut album out around March. English language, rock-oriented, said to be working with the likes of Santana, Steven Tyler and Slash. She discussed a bit about it amongst other things like her time on XF, the XF tour, etc, recently on GMTV here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYPWQTdv3V0&fmt=18

Second Spanish language album that I just mentioned, hopefully also out in 2010.

Touring the UK - some big gigs, some small gigs. Too many to list all of them. Both Belfast and Cardiff Pride, the Ashfield Show in Nottingham (headlined by the Sugababes), gigs with Diana Vickers, JLS, Laura White and others.
Recently played a sold-out charity concert back home in Murcia.
Has started performing non-XF songs at her gigs - Run, Ironic, Highway to Hell. Easy to find on Youtube.

Anything else?

Oh yeah, she's on twitter. Follow her.

Hi Takeachance
I am OK, hopefully I will have my new HD/Blu Ray setup soon
I'm enjoying XF I guess, but I think I liked the old format better. This format is too much like BGT IMO, and everyone is either very good or really bad, and it isnt as intimate as before

Hopefully I will sing in the concert in October and I will be on YT!!

I was thinking, if Ruth's album does really well and is huge in March (which i could potentially be).

She might sing a song from her spanish album on the next X Factor. Unless she is still promoting the first album and releasing singles from it, in which case she could sing that song.

Just a thought.

Thanks! She's been pretty busy! LOL

I just hope that her album does really good as she deserves it the most! That voice can NOT go to waste!
