).I remember nearly tearing the cushion to pieces waiting on the judges' decision.
It was horrible. I was so convinced she was going home even after that mindblowing performance.But the feeling after! My god that was an amazing feeling. Couldn't stop smiling lol.
KOHD and PR are both so meaningful but sort of in different ways.
PR because it was the "big moment" and such a surprise to the casual viewers - the performance that made her a contender.
KOHD because all the odds were stacked against her - being in the bottom two previously and up against one of the favourites to win. But she came out fighting.

Totally agree with everything you just said ! PR was just that WOWWWWWW moment.. and really got everyone to take her seriously.. and KOHD was just absolutely incredible.. and like you said, when all the odds were against her, instead of sulking and being all depressed about being in the bottom 2 again, she had such a positive fighting attitude which helped her to nail yet another great song !!! I really miss those bottom 2 performances
Dannii better give a Ruth comparison tomorrow.. if not i hope Louis does ! I can just imagine him saying it wasn't as good as Ruth's and Simon being all 'blah blah blah'

Hahaha me and maka were going through old posts on RLAT the other night, and the ones on the day before Ruth got eliminated. I believe that may have been a reference to something you said.

but it's true). No tour...Realistically speaking, it's very unlikely that Ruth would be where she is right now had she left Week 2, with no chance to further prove just how amazing she is.

Bloody furious at Cowell for picking this song, but at least it gives Ruth lots of promo. Oh god yeah I'm gonna have to watch Xtra Factor again this weekend as well. I didn't vote for Ruth til Week 6.
I know, I know! I'm a bad fan. I always said I was never gonna be lining Cowell's pockets with my money but Ruth being bottom 2 in Week 5 scared the bejesus out of me, we very nearly lost this amazingly talented woman, *flagellates self* and I voted for the first time on these kinds of shows the next week and every week after.And yeah, I love how she got such a surge of support after Week 2 (forgetting the Week 5 blip). I honestly think if she'd reached the Final she would have been in with a shout. That 1% between her and Diana just crushed me when I saw it.
