damn edit function.

i hope ruth is ok. seeing her perform, even just on a settee with francis rodino, she seems so happy. yet in some of her tweets she seems quite down. hope she's not putting too much pressure on herself.

Looks like she'll be heading off to Spain soon. She did say she was going home for Christmas.

I wonder if Ruth's album has been delayed (or if she needs longer to finish it)?

Her "Bio" on twitter used to say "Album out in March"..

...but she has now changed it to
"recording my album"

and Tweeted-

"Album out in 2010".

It wouldn't surprise me if they decided to push it back to when the next series of X Factor starts.

listening to burn (again!!!) and every time i hear ruth sing a new song her voice always amazes me. you'd think i'd stop being all WOW

after over a year, but no

what i like about this song is how she can be all raspy and rocky, but so soft and gentle at the same time.

I thought at first the tweet was just an oversight not including the month but if she's changed her bio as well...

Kinda frustrating that it may be a longer wait but I'm not surprised it's been delayed. These things are always subject to change (I read Diana's single has also been pushed back to April). March was only ever a tentative date.
Maybe they think that, now the album is taking shape, the "sound" is more suited to Spring/Summer? Who knows? I trust Ruth and her label to decide the best possible time to release it. I can wait a wee while longer.

Apparently last year she was banned by XF bosses from singing at that concert as she was still on the show at the time and "contractually obliged to it".
