I too am desperate to find out where she is performing in Cardiff, I live there and would be mad to miss her. I don't think it's Pulse as they don't have any posters up advertising her, like they've done previously. I'm trying to investigate and will let you know if I find anything out.

Some fans on purplerain fan group who live in Cardiff have been asking me but i cant find any info!Wish Ruth would say where it was! perhaps its a privat one again

Sorry guys, can't find anything on this.
Have checked the websites of several other Cardiff venues too. Very possible it's another private event. If it isn't then I hope we can find out in time.
edit: Pretty sure it's not Pulse as there's a guy, who I think was one of the organisers for the Cardiff Pride Pulse Street Party, that tweeted her asking where the gig was.

I made some mp3s of the longer version of Purple Rain from then and it reminded me of just how incredible she was on the tour - I definitely think she proved to her label even further that she was totally worth signing up.

Maybe this is why the album is possibly delayed? And with Prince allowing Purple Rain to be performed on XF this year and to stay on Youtube on the official XF channel, maybe EMI/Virgin are again attempting to acquire the rights for Ruth to record it? I'm wondering if there were any occurences in the past of Prince initially denying an artist then afterwards relenting...
