New Stainless Steel Pans strange colour coming off when washed
Hi
I have just bought a set of pans from a well known supermarket. Not the most expensive in the world as I am not a professional but neither are they a set that costs a tenner for eg. I have done what it says and washed in warm soapy water before use. Found on the cloth I washed them with Dark Grey marks. They also have a funny smell which I can only descibe as 'metally' Has anyone any idea if they are safe to use, or what might be causing this grey residue? Thanks PS I am starving and have chucked my old set in the bin!
