Posting this on behalf of my wife as I personally couldn't care less but she is having kittens waiting for his return. Any of the insiders here know...?

Hey fergey,

Tell your wife not to panic! lol... I don't think it'll be long now before his return... if you see here Vicki calls Den to tell him about Sharon and Dennis... I think this will spark his return...

Cheers,

I think it's March time. I'm kind of looking forward to him returning. Can't say I've particularly missed him but I am looking forward to him coming back and sorting Sam out, as well as Sharon and Dennis.

Mrs Fergey here !

I can't wait for him to return. To garymonc.... If you don't like it - turn it off !

Personally I love it. I also love the fact that the wonderful BBC 3 show it again at 10pm when the sproggs are in bed!

I will wait with baited breath for the "big can of whuppass" that he will open on his return. Yum.

Thanks guys for the info.

He finished his panto run a couple of weeks ago and EE is recorded about 6 weeks in advance so, unless they have filmed a bit out of sequence, it should be around a month.

lol Yes he did return in one of the most over hyped week of Eastenders ever! Since then we had to endure a very long winded and boring storyline of him and Dennis getting one over on Phil, him seeing Angie in Lisa and trying to help her. Then to listen to the boring segments between him and Dennis "Oh you don't call me son" "I'm not that kind of dad" blah blah blah.

Then the appaulling Christmas Day storyline he had, the showdown with Phil. Two big gangsters meeting after one stitched the other up and all they did was throw threats and insults at each other "I'm gonna get you Watts" "Oh yeh?" "Yeh!" "Oh yeh?" "Yeh!" Oh alrite heres 200,000 pound now get auuut!. And thats that? load of shite.

If that were real life, Phil would have went into the Angies Den, shot Den on site and then shot Dennis. Then he would have scarpered.

I hope he does come back for the Sharon/Dennis storyline and maybe see him get involved with Andy somehow. However I'd like to see this 80's character who is well past his sell by date, have a nice suitable ending like a car bomb or being shot and killed or actually falling into the canal and drowning this time! lol

Mrs Fergey again !

Ignore the previous post - pressed enter by mistake !

Just wanted to say in relation to willlhung's post, nobody has to endure anything. I am assuming that you know how to use you remote. Turn it over !!!

I am not being rude , however I dont understand why people watch programmes that they obviously dont like. Is it not an awful waste of time ? Then they discuss (or moan about them) them on forums. Just think of all the time you have wasted - you could have used it to organise you DVD collection into alphabetical order ! hehe

I agree with willhung. Can't stand "Dirty Den" don't know why they brought him back.

I like Eastenders so you don't have to tell me to turn it over fergey.

The Mitchells are the best, except for Sam.

When is Grant coming back more importantly. Then Grant and Phil can get rid of "Old Den" and "Mini Den"... haha...

Den drives me mad!! If he had come back, got rid of Phil for good and taken over the Vic i'd have been more impressed, but all he's done is sneak around and upset people. i want to see some ACTION from him!

Mrs Fergey, or whatever your name is, you are being rude! I'm an avid fan of Eastenders, it's just I didn't like Dirty Den's return. Now maybe if the storylines he'd had been realisitc. I agree with Drakaina, if we'd seen a bit more action from him instead of silly threats and icy cold stares, maybe I'd think differently.

At the moment I'm not too impressed with Eastenders, but every soap goes through that. It will bounce back with some good storylines.

Grant is rumoured to be coming back with Peggy for Mark Fowler's funeral. I can't wait to see how they write Phil back into the show. He's a wanted criminal. Plus I'm glad to see Billy is going back to his old ways. Walford sorely misses The Mitchells. The Fowlers are boring, the Brannings are good for comedy, the Ferreiras are a bit irritating and the Beales well, they're the Beales, nuff said! lol Oh an the Slaters, hopefully we'll see a storyline in which they move house soon! lol Except for Kat.
