MoTD Recording Issues

Hi everyone, first post.

I've had a HUMAX FOXSAT HDR now for a few months and it's been working flawlessly but I've encountered a couple of issues just recently when trying to record Match of the Day on the BBC.

The first two episodes of MoTD broadcast on Saturday night started 20 mins late. In the 'info' for the recording the 'billed time' was different to the recording time. What's the 'billed time'?

And last night I had MoTD2 scheduled to record. I was disappointed to see it hadn't recorded at all this morning! Previous episodes in this series have recorded just fine.

Has anyone else had these issues?

Does anyone have any top-tips for keeping the box happy?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sean.

I had the same problems with MOTD for the first 2 Saturdays of the season, missing the first 20 minutes.
This weeks recorded OK.

Sunday's MOTD2 this week was switched to BBC1 instead of it's normal slot on BBC2 to make way for The Office, if you had this on a series link, it won't have picked up the Channel change.

By the way, there are no Premier League games next weekend due to Internationals, so no MOTD or MOTD2. That's why you will probably still see the last transmitted date on your recording schedule.

Using a Panasonic, both MOTD and the following Football League programme failed to record. MOTD2 did yesterday, but the recording didn't finish until after the following film.

Is there a way for series recording to cope when the programme switches from one channel to another for one of the episodes? Or do I just have to check each week that it's on the original channel?

Thanks.

If the broadcaster gets the codes right the hdr should pick up the next transmission with the same series crid and a different programme crid. Which channel it's on should not matter. Easiest way to check is after one eposode is recorded check the schedule list to ensure it's picked up the next occurence. If the next episode is more than 8 days away you will have to wait till it gets in the epg
