I'm really glad that even though this AT isn't as popular as it used to be, all the posts are really positive compared to other AT's! It's nice to see a friendly atmosphere here

Hi Katiie.
I hope you can get to see the play.
There has been some cracking reviews.

It's on till 30th Jan all being well.
Hope she can stick it out, don't know how she is managing, it must be so hard to repeat the whole show 8 times a week.
Just hope she can hold out till I go on the 21st this month.

No news, no more reviews, no more twitters.
Diana will be busy today as well, with 2 shows to do.

I hope her voice holds out. It would be terrible if all the hard work was ruined because she lost her voice.

Thanks Caytom.
More great reviews.
Just don't know how she takes off all those stars?
As she says, she didn't know she could, well I'm sure we didn't think she could either.

I have a feeling that after this run she won't want to go back on the stage, not doing 8 shows a week anyway.
It must be such a strain on your vocal chords as well as everything else.

And as she says, she is homesick because she has to stay in London because it would be too much to keep traveling.

I went to see Little Voice last night. I knew Diana could sing
but boy - can she act too! The whole play is amazing but she is definitely the best thing in it! The bit where she sings all the different styles one after the other is brilliant - she's especially good as Marianne Faithfull, Julie Andrews and Edith Piaf in my opinion. And the closing song is fantastic - it brought a tear to my eye!
I was sitting middle front row so she was literally inches away from me during the big scenes!
Another standing ovation - and Graham Norton was there last night - he was behind me in the queue buying his programme (he didn't get a freebie!!!).

Thanks for that.
Can't wait to see her, but have to wait for another 2 weeks yet.

Hope Graham enjoyed it, he will give the show a few mentions.

Bet Diana will be thrilled to have all her old school coming to see her, bet she will be nervous though.
Can you imagine the noise and screams?

Diana has done 36 shows now, and isn't half way through yet.
2 weeks to go for me till I see her.

There just doesn't seem to be a lot of news, it's strange really.
Wish there was more to let you know.

Ha ha - yes

Diana performing barefoot reminds people of Sandie Shaw, who was also famous for performing barefoot.

Hey strangers! (and any old friends still lurking)!
I watched the current XF for the first time last night (wasn't that bothered this year as there will never be another Diana)! After watching I have to say that I don't think I have missed too much! I cringed at Louis calling Simon a cheat and was disgusted at his 'put down' of Dermot as 'Just a presenter' I thought that 'Jedward' were a joke, Lloyd was appalling and the rest not a patch on last year, although I did like Jamie singing Cryin. Danyls version of Purple Rain was nothing compared to Ruths' last year and tonights vote was a joke (except Lucie and her fans ain't laughing)!. Simon should have put Jedward (and the rest of us out of our misery)! I won't be watching again as I don't care who wins!
But let's not forget that it was XF that gave Diana her chance and we should all be thankful for that!
God I miss the banter from last year on here! When Diana was still in the competition, by the time I typed a post it had moved on two pages!
Good to see the 'new guys' keeping the thread going, I will try to get on more. Hope also that some of the old gang are still following and waiting patiently for the album and hopefully earlier single. I'm really happy for Diana and her success in LV, but tbh for most people outside London and the South/Home Counties West End musicals have little relevance and will not win over the huge army of fans that her upcoming album will hopefully do.
