That was nerve racking for Diana, having 250 from your old school turn up to see the show.

Only a week and 12 hrs left before I go to see her on stage.

I’ve heard that you’re working with Diana Vickers, is she on your album?

DH: She’s not on my album no, that’s another rule. I wanted it to be one male voice and then have a group male voice around it, because last time I really wanted it to be one male one female kind of thing so that’s why Emmy The Great sings, kind of like Gram Parsons, Emmy Lou, Stephen Mackie thing. But with this album I wanted an English feel to the album. If you think of Queen and stuff like that, I wanted that male vocal with a group of lads behind it, that kind of feel. So she’s not on the album but the weird thing was they approached me to just write songs, which I’m happy to do. I’ve written songs for a few other people and I want to do it a lot more, so I did a couple for her, they’re not finished yet but I keep meaning to get to it. But they’re interesting songs they’re kind of, I don’t know how to describe it but interesting, slightly orchestral. She’ll be cool I think.

ooh!! wont be as good as seeing it with diana in, instead of comparing diana to the original i will be comparing the original to diana if that makes sense lol!!! because i saw diana first lol!!

Well, that was a surprise for me - seeing Little Voice on TV tonight, as I wasn't expecting it. Still, I'm glad that I watched it as now I have a better idea of the storyline - so I know what people are talking about when they have been to see the play. I was amazed to see Obi-Wan Kenobi playing the part of Billy - I wasn't expecting that!

I can see how (in my opinion) Diana would make a better character for LV than Jane Horrocks - partly because she is younger and so more believable in that sense - but also because I think her voice is better (although I am biased ) . I could only compare their voices by what little clips I have heard of Diana on the web, and I definitely thought that for the song "Get Happy", Diana's voice was by far and away more rounded. Perhaps it's not good to compare them though - as they are different people, each bringing their own talents to the role.

I wonder if Diana watched this tonight?

watched lv last night on tv and i prefered diana in it!! i thought she played the character better! and also for her sunlight song at the end! i am determined to go and see it again and i think i may have persuaded my friend to come with me lol!!

yeah i like joe and stacey aswell, and i have a soft spot for olly!!

But my fave this year was lucie by a long way... i think she was robbed tbh!!

Though this series is pretty bad compared to last years- i don't tthink they could ever top last year tbh!!

Lucie was totally robbed! Couldn't figure why the GBP didn't vote after prob her best week. Couldn't really decide between her an Stacey. For me, Lucie prob has the better control, but Stacey has a richer tone. Personally, haven't voted since White Flag night last year
