I know it'd be great news but I'd be bummed if it was just more tour dates lol. I want some news that throws us off, like the news about the tour did last time she announced she had some news.

Yeah, I'm thinking if it was more tour dates, they would have just posted them now instead of waiting until Thursday to announce it. At a guess, I'm thinking Diana's official website is going to be relaunched to promote her new single or the date of when 'Once' gets officially premiered properly for the first time on the radio might be announced?

Not only can she sing, she can write songs and play instruments (was it trumpet, I'm not sure? and also can't she play guitar too?)

From what I remember a Singer was just a Singer, if you played an instrument on stage you were a Musician.

So someone has added singers in to the Musician category, don't know when.

And Diana doesn't play an instrument on stage so it doesn't count either.

They have all been dumped under the same umbrella probably for the union classification.

A musician is somebody who makes music their professional, that is the official dictionary meaning of the word. Therefore, no matter whether you sing/write/play instrument, you are a musician...

Also, you don't know if Diana will or won't play an instrument yet, she could add that to her show. Plus, she may have played an instrument for some of the tracks she recorded.

It seems that the classification have changed then.

If you were a musician at one time you went on stage and played an instrument.

And your job description said what you did, if you sang you were a singer.
What you did at home or in a studio meant nothing, it was what you did as a job to earn a crust.

I'm sure all the musicians playing instruments all their life will be so pleased to be joined by all the musicians that go on stage and just sing.

It's a similar thing to the groups on X-F that they call bands, now that is clever to be in a band on stage and not have an instrument between them.

I think diana does play the trumpet on at least one of the tracks as on one video she was on her way to pick up a trumpet for the studio
