I will be really disappointed if Diana decides to pursue an acting career rather than recording. Obviously I would wish her well but I have no interest in the theatre and although I am a movie fan, I don't follow any actors careers. I either like a movie and individual performances or I don't.
Music on the otherhand is a passion and I have very strong loyalties to the people who touch me. When I first fell in love with Diana on XF I had this vision of a wonderful recording career and acting never came into it. If she is successful enough to combine the two then great but I can't think of anyone who has done it in recent years. Usually failed singers turn to acting. I want to see Diana releasing mega selling music, not serving pints in the Rovers Return or appearing in a West End play that only a privileged few will ever see!

Whilst a different style, you do get people like Hilary Duff and Miley Cyrus who do combine both. And although madonnas acting was fairly disastrous towards the end , she did get a golden globe for her role in Evita.
I think diana will focus on her music career but may pursue certain further opportunities at certain times in acting. She clearly has a talent here and it would be slightly tragic if she did not at some time explore her talents further in this field. One of the reviewers from somewhere like the Telegraph or Times said in a radio interview that he had real high hopes for her acting in the future given the touching vulnerability she had shown as LV. I would love to see diana in a quality film maybe a Billy Elliott style movie as well as having a strong and successful music career.

Well I think her future in the music industry will depend on the success of this first single and Album.

It takes 9 months to compile/produce an Album and that's a big outlay for someone.

I would think you need a day job to carry you through.
Don't know really.

I wonder that as well.

I bet we agree that Diana has only got 3 more shows to do as LV in the Westend.

Was there a small piece in this weeks Heat magazine regarding Diana? I rememer reading about it somewhere but I've checked the magazine a few times and couldn't find anything.

yes there was a small bit about her album including saying she had worked with lead from snow patrol. i think she posted it on twitter/facebook

I managed to download full version of Once this morning before it was removed and it really is awesome!
Gonna be mega! Sorry but I won't be posting it on forum as I don't want be responsible for it spreading like a virus over the net! I'm rubbish with computers anyway and wouldn't know how to let you hear it.

Its funny that I can listen to the radio iPlayer in Ireland but not the player for the tv programmes.
